Temp in Room at Nite, etc...

Hi, I am a first time Wonder cruiser... My family is having a big 50th wedding anniversary (my in laws 50th). I am wondering what the temperature will be like at night for sleeping in the rooms. We have a Cat. 4 (I don't know that it matters where on the boat you are, rm 85...something). I don't know if I should pack long sleeve PJ's for my 3 kids or summer PJs.

OH, we are leaving on 7/6, this Sunday. Also, is it chilly in the dining rooms. Will the kids do fine with long sleeves. Will I need a sweater.

I hope someone can fill me in the the temperatures. I am anxious to get packing, so I know I sound a little harried.

I'm one of those people who are usually cold inside most of the time; however, I found I was comfortable in summer weight pj's. I did carry a sweater for the dining rooms and theaters. I think I remember my DH going back to the room one night at dinner to get a sweater for my DD. Other than that, it was typical summer wear...and we cruised beginning of February. Hope this helps.

As far as in your room sleeping at night...if I remember right each room has it's own temperature gage and you can set it however you like.

I was always comfortable in our room (I'm usualy very cold), so I am just guessing at this one

If your stateroom is a trifle chilly from the air conditioning, just open your door to the verandah. You'll warm the cabin instantly by 30 degrees...

Every stateroom has an individual climate control, so you can make your room as warm or cool as you like. We were on the Wonder last summer in August and were quite comfortable in summerwear. We did bring a sweater along to the restaurants and the theatres, but I don't recall ever putting them on.

See you onboard! We are also going on cruise #2 this Sunday! Haven't started packing yet. We are so excited! Can't wait.

We were on the May 17th Eastern (8075) and we found it chilly in the room at night and always had to turn the thermostat UP!!

I found it was never really cool enough in the room and I wished the A/C would have worked a little better in there but the dining room and shows were always comfortable, never needed a long sleeve shirt or sweater in there.

We were on the 5/10 Western, and we found the same thing. We had two connecting cabins and had both thermostats up as high as they can go at nights. We were fine, but it was still a bit chilly for our kids. We usually turned them down a bit during the day.
