A few things might seem strange....
we use masking tape (and the marker) to write our cell # on. Then we put the piece of tape on our little one's back.

orange bandana is for tying to the stroller.
humidifier is for blocking out room noise.

This is my all purpose list and so it lists winter and summer wear.

My Dh and I split up some of the fanny pack items and we usually have a small backpack with the ponchos that we hang on the stroller

we always have a small ziploc with meds for the fanny pack. I've said it a hundred times-Tylenol in the room does you no good in the middle of the MK-this happened to us. I also pack chewables for my son. He has also gotten sick (once VERY sick) at disney more than once.

WOW! Where's the kitchen sink? :rotfl: The crazy think is I totally understand why you pack all of this and have most of it myself.

We just got back a week ago and I miss it already! Wish I was packing again!
A few other thoughts- for what I would do for next year!
small paper bathroom cups (Disney kind if you can find)
pop up hamper or a large duffel bag for dirty clothes
small bottles of suntan lotion ( we carried around the big ones- too heavy!)
small bottles of water
lots of film!
Use the photopass- it was great!
Have a great time!

What is a dental gun?

Great list!! The only things I added to the copy I made are email addresses(for Epcot) and our planning books. Thanks!

If you're flying, the following are MUST HAVES in your carry-on. (it is just DH and I tho)

A couple of changes of underwear and socks
sleepwear - we usually go in October, so I try and take a pair of athletic pants and a t-shirt. That way it could double as an outfit if luggage is lost/late
Change of clothes for the next day.
Toothbrush
hairbrush
ballcap
medications
cameras/electronics

DH always does about the same for the carry-on. He also puts his shaving kit in there with all his toiletries. Whereas, I pack mine in my case with my hairdryer and straightner.

Our flights were messed up last time and we ended up driving almost 200 miles to another airport to catch a flight. (We were living in the middle of South Dakota, and there are only 2 flights out per airline per day 4 total). They were sending our luggage on for us, as we were barely going to make the flight anyway. So, our luggage didn't get delivered to our resort until the next day.

I would also put the sunscreen in your carry-on as well. I had forgotten to pack any the trip before, and the last trip it was in my checked luggage, so I still ended up paying $9 for a bottle at the gift shop the next morning.

I've had problems with flights and had luggage arrive late many times, so I try to be as prepared as I can with my carry-on luggage

I usually pack cereal for the mornings and bring peanut butter ,jelly and bread to make sandwiches for the afternoon. One year I pack a whole duffel bag that had nothing but food. It worked out great and it saved a few $$ that we used for other things. Plus it was nice to come back to the room after a swim or at night for a light snack. :)

My list:

Apparel:

Enough shorts/shirts/undies/bra & socks to last us 2-3 days (this is 2 outfits per day).

Shoes-2-3 pairs per person-2 for walking & one for going to pool/beach area
Hats for us all

Baby stuff:

Strollers-2
Car seat-1
Diapers
Wipes-lots of wipes
Swim diapers

Toiletries:

Eye glasses, saline solution & contact case (contacts will be in my eyes)
Shampoo/conditioner for all 4 of us (we all use something different so I have small bottles)

Tylenol & Advil
Pads/tampons (hopefully I won't need them)

Fruit snacks/twizzlers/swedish fish for the plane

Will also be shipping a box of non-perisable foods for breakfast (cereal, pop tarts, granola bars) & snacks (ds has the food allergies). In the box will be the bulk of the diapers/wipes (I calculate how many I use per day for about 2 weeks then I add 2 more days to that total-I always have extra), table toppers, laundry detergent/dryer sheets, zip lock bags, lysol wipes & whatever else I can think of that I don't want to bring back home with me (with the exception of diapers/wipes).

Will be taking on the plane food that can't be shipped: Banana's, mini-bagels, ?Milk, pre-packaged deli meat & possibly frozen chicken nuggets (ds with food allergy), possibly a few scoops of ds's safe dairy free butter/margerine, soy butter (peanut butter made from soy nuts).

Thanks for all the tips! Especially Susy, LOL! I printed your list off and my husband thought I was nuts. :cool1:

It was very helpful.

Love these lists, I would have forgotten the car insurance cards!!!

Whoa! I just printed the file out and will just check off what I want to take. Great!

a little tip.
unless your hotel/villa/accommodation has a washer/dryer, then ALWAYS take with you bags and stuff for dirty clothes. it may have a slight pungent smell to it after two weeks, but at least you can hide it away in your bag
if you are going for 2 weeks then:
if your accommodation does have a washer/dryer, then to save money, time and bad backs, only pack enough clothes for 7 days, then wash them while you are there. it is so much easier and it also means that there is more room in your bag for souvenirs!!! pirate:
glad to be of service.
i better split!

I happened to pack a Sharpie (permanent marker) on our last trip and we used it several times, most notably to sign our WDW guest cards that also work for charging items in the parks (the Sharpie smeared a little when DH took the cards swimming, but still quite readable) and to mark our refillable mugs (put identifying marks on the bottoms).
