Tell Me Your Favorite Thing About POP Century

Hi All! I'm so excited! Next year I'm taking a solo trip with my girlfriend to WDW while DH stays home with the 3 boys! I haven't been to WDW without kids since 2006! We have decided to stay at Pop. Can you all share with me your most favorite thing about Pop??

The walk along the lake. The shadowboxes in the lobby. Must does. Trust me.

The tyedye cheesecake, the bridge to AOA, the bowling pin pool, the pool bar, . We love Pop! Have fun.

The food court, the walk ways, the bright colors, the single resort bus service. Tie dye cheesecake, the fact that we can wear tie dye shirts and fit in....LOL

The Mom's night out meals, the lake, the bridge......there is just so much to love about this resort

I love the tie dye cheesecake!!! I always eat WAY too much of it.

We also love the lake, the walkway around the lake, and the fact that we could see the fireworks from Epcot every night. Love the Hippy Dippy Pool too!

The food court is the best out of all the resorts that we have been to!

It's the only resort that has a lake view as a standard room!!

Good buses.

Definitely the tiedye cheesecake!! Our bus service to the parks in June 2011 was superb...the best I have ever had. I don't think we ever waited more than 10 minutes max either going to the parks or returning to the POP. Most of the time it was under a 10 minute wait. We might have just gotten lucky on that trip with such great bus service. Walking around the resort is interesting...also be sure to check out the shadow boxes in the lobby. My experience at the Pop was the best I have ever had at a Disney resort, and I had always stayed at moderates and deluxes. Hope you enjoy your stay there as much as I did.

I am not a fan of the values but POP even has a lot of deluxes beat with their arcade..... Much better than most Mods and Deluxes except CR...

The theming, good bus service, you can see Epcot and ToT from the 50s! Can't wait to get back myself!lol

The theming, vibrant colors,music they play, food court, location of the resort, activities, and the pool. First visit was in May and is now my favorite value!

The walk along the lake is totally romantic. I thought the buses were great. The atmosphere is just so much fun. I thought it was really cool that everything looked just like the pictures and they worked so hard to keep it looking vibrant, clean, and fresh.

I'm thinking of just going with a standard room. Since the kids won't be with us, the walking won't bother me. Am I making a mistake?

Displaying all of the different icons for the different decades is a super fun theme!

We also liked the food court, the buses were great! We stayed at POP in 2009 and would stay there again!
