We have only been twice and didn't try them until our 2nd trip. We were hooked!!! I know we spent at least $40 that week on them. My daughter made me take a pic of her eating one. It's her favorite pic to this day. I keep meaning to try the turkey legs, but after reading some bad reviews, I haven't brought myself to it yet. We did witness a little boy dipping a huge leg in a tiny BBQ sauce. We thought that was a hoot.
About a week after they changed the menu we were able to get it for my son because he's allergic to coconut and couldn't have the bread pudding. The rest of us got the bread pudding. I got my hand slapped when I reached for one of his pineapple wedges.
My favorite treat at WDW would have to be Dole Whip floats, or maybe a Mickey bar, or maybe a frozen chocolate covered banana at AK, or maybe chocolate moose off the kids menu at Le Cellier, or maybe a chocolate chip ice cream sandwich, or maybe a german chocolate cookie from Germany, or a chocolate caramel cashew cluster from Germany, or a rainbow kaki gori from Japan, or a sacristain from France, or maybe a Casy's hot dog, or maybe a hot jalapeno cheese stuffed pretzel from MGM, or maybe I'll just have to decide on a #1 favorite when I go back. Sorry, but I can't seem to decide on an 'absolute' favorite right now.
Me Too!!!!!!!! I absolutly love this dessert, I am going as you can see in 8 days and I was wondering if they still have it, My DH and I had in on our honeymoon in 2002.
also the fish and chips from UK at epcot (smothered in vinegar! about 8 packs!). we chowed on those over and over again. as meal or as a snack shared among the 4 of us. (yea, the baby even dug them!)
NEED MORE FOOD! Or at least more food ideas. Come on, don't stop now. I still have another 37 days until we leave and my list of "food items I must try" is only 2 pages long!
I know this is an old thread but I bumped it up for two reasons:
1. This thread gave me so many yummy ideas of things I wanted to try on our last trip, which I did BTW, that I wanted to say thanks to all who posted.
2. I know there are alot of "newbies" all the time who are planning a WDW trip and would maybe like to browse through this and get some ideas of their own, or post some ideas of their own.
I guess there's one more. It was fun to read through this again and remember all the yummy food!! So happy eating everyone.
