Tell me your absolute hands down fav food at WDW

I can't pick just one, I've found too many-
Sweet Pretzels with almonds and frosting from Norway Bakery
Chocolate Fondue with orange Ganache for two at Grand Floridian Cafe
Berry Cobbler at Artist Point
Chocolate Mickey Rice Krispie bar
Pretzel breadsticks, dipped in the cheese soup at Le Cellier
Rice Cream from Akershus
Sweet Potato Hash with egg at Olivia's
Chocolate Dipped strawberry from the candy store between Virgin Records and DisneyQuest, MUCH better than Ghiradelli's.

Well, that's off the top of my head. Most of these we don't miss for each trip, we never miss the Sweet Pretzel from Norway.

ME AND DH:
Fried Chicken at FW (served at HDMR, BBQ, and Trail's End) - Really, I have no idea why I love it so much, but I gotta have it. They must put something addictive in it, because it is in fact, just fried chicken.

:flower:

I have to agree. The Breakfast at Chef Mickey's as well.

Man, I am STARVING!!!!

you just want to drink German beer and eat a carmel apple while watching Illuminations

Ok, I hafta say this grosses me out. Beer and a caramel apple together??? :scared:

AND some of you are cheating by naming more than one thing!!!! BAD BAD BAD boys and girls!

So I'm going to do it too. ;) :goodvibes

Has anyone tried the guacamoli at the Mexico stand? Some of the best I've ever had!! Tres expensive, but so delish.

Pretty close - praline :)

YUM!

no i looked it up it is pralineige...not sure but am guessing it is somehow similar to praline ( as in similar ingredients?) but it's not like the candy , it's pastry... anyway it is good no matter how you spell it

I haven't been in 4 years but remember the Ice Cream Mickeys as being the one thing I looked for.

Having read the boards, I want to get the Cheese Soup and pretzel bread, the popcorn, the turkey leg, the sweet pretzel at Norway, the Margaritas at Mexico, Dole Whip, squash soup...I am going to have to type up a list to take along.

:rotfl: I haven't been in awhile either and with all the planning lists I have done I never thought a "food list" would be one of them, but I think it's gonna have to be. There's so much I want to try! :goodvibes

DH and I really miss the huge taco salads at El Pirate y Perico in MK. They are always closed when we go now. We used to have a taco salad on EVERY trip. It was usually pretty crowded, so I have no idea why it's seasonal now (and what constitues seasonal - it was closed in June AND October).

We always MUST have creme brulee somewhere at WDW - Olivia's cappuccino creme brulee & Tony's Town Square's banana chocolate creme brulee are my faves!

Also on my list are: Dole Whips, the iced coffee drinks over by Aladdin's Magic Carpets, banana bread pudding at Crystal Palace, crepes in France, that raspberry almond dessert at Biergarten (can't think of the name of it right now), funnel cakes in America... OMGosh, I could go on and on, and this is making me hungry!!!!!

I guess my answer should just be DESSERT!

this has really made me want to try some of this stuff I've obviously missed all these years...I am ALWAYS looking for a Mickey head bar :mickeybar (sometimes they also serve as lunch)
what I can't explain is what it is about the chocolate chip pancakes at WDW I have to eat these every morning...they just don't taste the same at home. The sticky wings at Ohana. Yummy...so much food so little time!!!!

mmmm
another thing we forgot is just about anything at Main Street Bakery :bounce:

Pineapple with carmel sauce.......no wait, that's no longer served at Ohana

DH's favorite is the jalepeno pretzel in Tomorrowland at MK. When we go back in January I want to try the Dole Whip, it sounds so good, I'll just have to be careful with the sugar intake... no sudden bathroom trips;)
Ever since I had my gastric bypass, I just kinda have a bite or two of whatever anyone else has, but after reading about the Dole Whip, someone is just going to have to be willing to finish it for me, I'm trying it!

My husband and I both agree that the food at Disney has improved so much from the first time we went there in the mid 70's. It seems like everything was fast food then. My dd's favorite food at Disney is the grilled chicken ceasar salad at "Bongos" in Downtown Disney. Everytime we go we make it a special trip to Bongos.

mickey bar. gotta have one or two. i just love them.

Oh this thread is making me HUNGRY. I cannot wait to get to WDW and try some of these. I am writing them down! LOL

Just one, huh?

Figaro Fries at Pinocchio Village Haus.
