Tell me the "weather" where you live.

I can tell you're really missing the "seasons". If I never saw temps below 60 again, I'd be very happy.

There's a place in Florida with your name on it Jim! Somewhere. I know you had ideas on where you wanted to live, but you should check out our neighborhood when you come down. It's almost smack dab in the middle of the state. No worries on where to store your coach since it'll be about 10 steps from your house. Water, Sewer, 50amp plug right in the garage (or port- whatever you choose). Six hours more or less from anyplace in the state. I'm no relator and get nothing, but I always tell people it doesn't hurt to look.
PS: My wife just made me shut the patio doors because she was cold!

Yep! I'm the same way. I've often said that if I could live year-round wearing shorts, I'd be a happy man. Sadly, DW has a different perspective!

Anyway, 50's and sunny today, so it's certainly better than yesterday's snow!

Oh, I know there is. DW wants some place close to the beach. "Close" is within a couple of miles, ideally within a few hundred feet. We will probably spend some more time looking in January.

well we had a fun morning with a tornado warning. it did not touch down near us but the line of storms went right over us. You could see the rain falling and circling. It was wild watching it from the 18th floor. We did put mallory in the bathroom in case we needed to move fast. Because it was that bad but thankfully no major issues and have not lost power yet.

18th floor. OMG! Glad you guys are OK.

Hope everyone in the path of the storms is doing well! We had a ton of rain, but no major storms. Today, just blah! Cloudy and 50's. Looks like we have a week or so of below normal temps ahead.

Kris, I was worried about y'all when I heard on the news of Atlanta's tornado. So glad all went grea! I imagine you have a great view of the city from the 18th floor. We had storms early this morn around us, but thank our dear Lord, we did not even have rain. Hill Country & parts of Austin area has been having large hail. This one today had hail around us.

Storms blasted through. Trees down and power out. I cooked supper on Blackstone griddle.

Beans
Porkchops
Had potatoe salad in fridge

I'm gonna show you trick.

I love my tankless water heater. As long as I've got propane, I got endless hot water. It only uses just enough power to run a 5w circuit and small fan.

Right now we are having a bad thunderstorm. Has been raining very hard, but little wind. The radar shows the rain will stop around 8:00 pm. Been raining since around 2:15. We are in a flash flood warning. I live in La Grange, Tx & Colorado river is right where I am. It has gone up so far 3.43 ft - bank stage is 19 & flood stage is 26 ft. Over the next week we are suppose to receive 6 to 8" of rain.
My plants are enjoying God's water. I will be so glad when the storms quit occurring. Light rain is OK

It snowed twice last week and we are supposed to be in the upper 80's this weekend. The weather is as crazy as the residents here 8-)

and... Oh BTW, we are in the third year of a pretty serious drought, good thing was have all those big lakes.

Day 8 or 9 of consecutive rain or scattered showers. 11 of the next 14 days rain in the forecast. I didn't realize the rolling plains of KS were in a rain forest.

My pool still has the cover on it and antifreeze in the lines. It was still getting into the 40s at night last week. I'll probably open it this week.
