We now are considering a Nissan Quest for a next vechile. Got one or know some one who does? What are your thoughts about it? What is the real mpg you get for city and highway? What upgrades do you have? Thanks for your input in advance :goodvibes .

I have a 2005, and the most basic model you can get.

I love, love, love it! I think it has so much interior room, and I end up carting big groups of both kids and adults around, and everyone is comfy. We also have moved gian tables and treadmills with no problems at all. It's really easy to fold all of the seats down flat.

I end up getting some where around 325 miles per tank (which is maybe 16 gallons--so 20 mpg). I do a lot of freeway (and in traffic) driving though, so I'm not sure how that changes things.

WIFE has a 2007 Quest. I am one of those 'I'll never be associated with a minivan' type of guys....

That being said...this is HER first minivan so the size inside was surprisingly big and nice. Being able to walk from the front seat to the back is a nice capability. She has the leather with the DVD all power doors.

Honestly, gas mileage is brutal. She gets just past 300 miles out of a tank of gas. It's rated for 18-25 but I've been keeping track and she gets 17-18 consistently including highway driving. Never approached 25 mpg's.

Power doors are nice and it drives nice. Second row seats don't fold flat. Dual DVD screens is nice, but right now not really necessary. Third seat isn't a 60/40 so either the whole seat is up or the whole seat is down.

Again, I hate minivans so my review might be a little more on the negative side, but all are honest evaluations.

I got a 2004 in April and I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!! I get about 21 mpg. I love the power and the agility and I can lug all of my craigslist stuff! I find myself finding reasons to use it.

I have the basic model and my sister bought the top of the line one brand new. My 3 year old model cost one third of hers.. she nearly KILLED me when I told her what I paid! :thumbsup2
