Tell me some positives about LTT dinner...

We did lunch there on our last trip and will be doing dinner this time. I adored the crab cake entree and the pot roast for lunch...I still dream about it...we might have to do lunch there also just so I can get my pot roast it was so good.

I know that you only wanted to her positives, and while I don't want to piss in anyone's cereal this morning my meal at LTT this month was possibly one of the worst meals I ever had at WDW. The salad was uninspired, the meat and stuffing was dry, the mac-n-cheese was mushy and the gravy (which was needed on just about everything) was congealed. I wish I had known about the cranberry sauce. That might have helped. The dessert was so boring that I can't even recall what it was other than it was too sweet. The mashed potatoes were quite good and we enjoyed the rolls. The character interaction was lackluster. We were on the 2007 DDP and with tax and tip the bill would have been over $100 for 2 adults and 1 child.

I hope that they were just having a "bad day" for your sake. I know that we won't be back.

{shrug} If you went into LTT after reading only glowing reviews and had a meal like mine, you would do more than just shake your head.

I tried to like the place. Really, I did. I am not a picky eater and I was really looking forward to Thanksgiving type comfort food and great character interaction. Instead we got what tasted like we were 2 hours late for Thanksgiving dinner and drive-by sign-n-snap character interaction. We even tried to joke around with the characters by asking if Goofy was going to be the new contractor on Minnie Mouse's house restoration. We got a thumbs up as they moved away to the next table.

I'll chime in with a positive review. We ate there on our last trip in April 2007 and already have ADRs for our trip this May. My family and I really enjoyed the food, and especially the character interaction. It was our first character meal ever so the kids were beyond excited.

Wow, I'm so sorry to hear your about your bad experience. We've never had a bad experience there, thank goodness.

Sorry to jump in, but I wondered if LTT serves dessert during dinner time?

I was just looking at their menu on wdwinfo.com and the dinner family style meal doesn't list dessert. The dessert section is also only located on the lunch menu.

Never fear, dinner does come with dessert! And a delish one at that! Since everything is family style, that includes the dessert which was big serving dishes of cobbler with scads of ice cream melting over the top. Guess what was my daughter's favorite part of that meal? ;)
