Tell me some positives about LTT dinner...

The second best meal we had at disney behind Ohana. Yummy and the characters were wonderful :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

My tummy typically doesn't travel all that well. When we took our kids for the first time in 2006, we booked it for dinner. It was the most relaxing dinner I had that trip! The characters came by multiple times. The creamy mashed potatoes, moist ham, and turkey hit the spot.... and how can you go wrong with Stouffer's mac-n-cheese?? No, it's not gourmet, but it is certainly enjoyable! We plan to do book it for our next trip. You'll definitely be happy with it!!

I'm glad to hear all the positives too! We will be eating there for our first ever sit down dinner at WDW exactly one week from today!

I was pleasantly surprised with this one too! I thought the food was great especially if you have yound kids (can't go wrong with amc and cheese or mashed potatoes IMHO).

We absolutely loved LTT! It was one of our favorite meals! We loved the characters and the food. We are for sure going back to LTT on our next trip, which hopefully will be next year! Have fun!:)

LTT is the one "must" meal for every trip. Last February I went with a group of 9, some of which feel the best food is outside the parks. EVERYONE loved it. In fact I just made reservations for 16 for our trip this February. It is all you can eat, just ask the server for more. The rolls are out of this world. The meal is served family style so everyone can pick and choose what they want. They serve apple cobbler with ice cream for dessert.

PS. It's the one meal my 17 year old wanted to eat with me this coming trip, so she and her friends are joining the adults for the meal.

We've been twice. The first time it was wonderful and we decided to make it our customary first meal in the parks. Then, last year it was not good at all. Well, the food wasn't good - the characters have been great both times. I hope we were just there on an off night for the food. The first time is was one of the best meals of our trip.

This is always a must for us! The food is always great, they are quick to serve, and the characters are alway fun! Great choice!

This was the first table service we had every tried at WDW. We liked it so much, that we went back the next day. Now we make it a point to eat here at least once each trip. I love the salad at dinner. :thumbsup2

I forgot to say that the service was very good. I think we were just there on an off night for the food the second time. BUT- we still had an OK dinner. It just tasted like something I would cook myself. :rotfl:

The service and the characters were fantastic. :thumbsup2
(I just hate that tiny bathroom!)

I knew sooner or later someone would come along and piss in my cheerios.:lmao: So much for let's hear your "positive thoughts" on LTT character dinner.:goodvibes

Wow, that was harsh. I'm really sorry my post offended you. I thought I WAS being positive. I posted later to say that the food wasn't terrible - just like something I would cook myself.

I think the OP was just joking with you, didn't sound like the OP was serious. I guess it would depend on how tasty "something you would coook" would be.:rolleyes1

No offense taken and sorry if my wording(piss in my cheerios) ;) came across as harsh.

I just found it funny knowing that someone would eventually say something negative about LTT.

I'll move on now.

EVERYTHING is WONDERFUL!!!! This was one of our fav's!! The food was just basic food that you would cook at home. It was a nice break from the "chicken fingers and french fries" we were eating all week.

The coobler was GOOOOOD!!!

Enjoy.

We adore this restaurant and have placed it on our must-do list. The food is reliably good each time out. We aren't gourmets at all and enjoy the meat and potatos type fare. I think it's funny that the one poster sort of lamented that it tastes like something I would cook at home...that is a quality I find extremely endearing about the place. It's like "I" cooked without actually having to cook, serve or clean up!

The turkey is always moist, and I love the ham. It's kind of hard to find a decent ham around WDW. How can ya go wrong with mashed potatoes and Mac and Cheese? For dessert they served an apple cobbler with ice cream (which is my only criticism. I detest fruit of any kind so the dessert is a bummer for me).

Character interaction has always been wonderful there.

In keeping with the "don't insult LTT" theme.... we will not talk about the quality of my cooking. ;)

Sweetie, I'm from the South.... saying "piss" is about as harsh as I get! :rotfl:
Seriously, I guess I'm just being all sensitive this morning. I'm having one of those days.... :headache:

But, one final word about LTT. We really do LOVE it! It is one of our favorite character meals. Goofy is fantastic. He interacts with the adults as well as the children. We have some really cute video of him goofing for the camera. :thumbsup2

Strawberry Vinaigrette Salad Dressing!!!:lovestruc I was surprised as to how much I loved it! I'm not even a big strawberry fan...who knew.

I think the food is very yummy and the best choice for our family regarding a sit down dinner in the MK. I requested cranberry sauce with our meal...they don't serve it unless you ask. It was real cranberry sauce - I'm a jellied - out of the can kinda girl. I still ate it though.

The characters are very good and spent equal time with both boys. No Mickey - this is Minnie's restaurant.;)
