Tell Me I'm Paranoid - Late Evening Check - in (BLT)

Feeling alittle paranoid about checking in late evening, about 8-8:30pm.

We've never had a flight this late coming into MCO. I'm worried they're going to give away my room! I know this is unreasonable to worry. But to humor me, are there any similar check in worriers out there?

Is there anyone who can calm my fears?

Our flight lands at 7:10 pm, but by the time we get our rental car and drive to WDW it'll probably be about more towards 8:30 - 9pm.

Help calm my fears please!

4 years ago we were to arrive at MCO at 7:00 PM and have a town car take us to Contemporary to check in. The plane didn't arrive until 4:00 AM the next day due to weather issues in Atlanta. I was in touch with the front desk until about 11:00 PM and told them that I was delayed and didn't know when we would arrive. They said not to worry and my room would be waiting for us.

When we arrived at MCO at 4:00 AM the town car was waiting for us and when we arrived at the hotel at approx 4:45 AM the front desk already knew who we were and had our keys ready. Bell service had our bags in our room before we could get there ourselves.

Just let the hotel know of your approx arrival time and you shouldn't have any problems. Your room will have been assigned that morning or the day before.

We have checked in after midnight many times. I always call a few days in advance and then again the afternoon of our arrival day to remind them that we will be checking in during the night.

we arrived in April at the BWV at 10pm and got our room with no problem....I'm sure you will be fine

We've checked in around midnight at SSR. And will check into the THV around 10 this fall. With online check-in, I would think it would be even easier now?

I would not worry about them giving away my room.

I would worry about getting the LAST choice in rooms, ie low floor, worst view, handicapped accessible room........

But that is just me.

I guess that was an issue as well. But if they do room assignments a couple days before, maybe it's not an issue??

Yes, Jet Blue from Roc, NY. I think it arrives around 7:10pm - 7:30pm.

I wish it were earlier. We usually fly out of Syracuse. But the fares were crazy from Syr.

... we checked in very VERY late during NYE week last year... we were SO late that they'd given away all studios...so "sadly" we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom villa for the entire stay

You'll be fine...and if there's no room at the inn... you might be pleasantly surprised!!

We arrived late (after 10PM) to BCV and so did my DSis. This was in May and we got fine rooms.
