With our trip less than a month away, DH is finally ready to start talking about it. I was talking to him today and he mentioned that he doesn't think I will be able to do much. I will be 21 weeks pregnant. I told him that if I don't get things done it will be because of DD, not because of me. I told him that DD goes super slow in DW and this, coupled with our GAD FP and the fact that we will have almost 8 full days means that I should get plenty done. We went to the zoo last weekend and I will admit I was ready to leave after 4.5 hours (so was everyone else) but we walked almost a mile from our car to the zoo, we tried to stuff too much but not enough water into the stroller and I think the only time we sat down was to eat lunch. DW is much more of a 'stroll' type atmosphere (at least with DD it is). So please, tell me that DH is being overly paranoid and that I will get to do plenty. I feel the need to hit a lot of the MK stuff but we have 2 very long days there. The rest of the parks have a handful of things that interest me and honestly, mostly things that I know DD will love (totally prepared to spend hours in the Boneyard). I can totally see DH taking the older kids and leaving us behind (well, as much as the kids will let him, I know they are super excited about watching DD too).

As long as you rest whenever you need it and try to use FP wisely so you avoid long lines, you should be fine. There are lots of places to sit and rest and lots of attractions that are calm seated ones: COP, Monster's Inc, IASW, HM, Tiki Room, JC, Nemo, Crush, Spaceship Earth, Ellen UoE, Philharmagic, Honey I Shrunk the Audience, Gran Fiesta, LWTL, JII, FOTLK, ITTBAB, Nemo the Musical, Indiana Jones, Great Movie Ride, Beauty and the Beast, VOTLM, parades, F! You will have such a good time. Take it easy and enjoy the slower pace.

I went to DL at 7 months prego and had an awesome time did lots and didn't feel like I missed out on much at all,I also found people very firendly and polite offering me their spots on benches etc..
When we go back in May I will be about 22 weeks pregnant and plan to enjoy every second of it just stay hydrated and take things a little slower and I think you will be fine :goodvibes

I took my wife to Disneyworld when she was several months pregnant. Although she griped about not being able to go on roller coasters, she could do most of the rides that you could do with a toddler. We took it easy and slow, and focused on getting the most out what stamina she had (with plenty of rest time). Although you can't go "commando", you should be able to enjoy most of the activities and rides that your DD can go on.

Probably our favorite trip ever was when I was 24 weeks pregnant. We had a blast. I did get tired more easily, but we took frequent stops and it was fine. I also think I visited every bathroom in Disney!

The only thing that really made me feel like I was missing out was that Expedition Everest was in soft opening then. I was so disappointed that I couldn't try it. DH felt bad for me so he didnt' go on either. Other than that, it was probably our best trip ever!

WDW has plenty for pergo's now universal and I of A does not. Seaworld has some but not much. I would rather be prego at a disney park than at Universal or I of A.

The worset vacation I've ever been on was when I was prego at Universal , I of A , Sea World and Discovery Cove. I was 6months along and there was maybe a handfull of things I could do. I got molested (J/K) by sting rays and not allowed to swim with the dolphins at discovery Cove. I got to go on 1 maybe 2 rides at universal. 1 at I of A and ZERO at Seaworld. I was allowed to do the "walking exibits" only

:sad2:

We went to Disneyland Paris at 25 weeks pregnant and up until we arrived I didn't feel pregnant but boy did it hit me fast that I was.

That said, I just took it easier but I did tire out and it did take me about a week to recover.

We went for three nights, I wouldn't have been able to do another day.

Still had fun though and hey I was at Disney.

Was he really talking stamina and speed or all the ride that come with the "dont ride if youre pregnant" warnings?

You must mean 24 weeks!

I've been to WDW several times at different stages in pregnacy. 21 weeks should be pretty good as morning sickness should have subsided and you aren't carrying a watermelon yet;).
Take it easy, it's a wonderful time to appreciate the little things about disney instead or running from attraction to attraction. Make sure that you drink a lot and take a seat when you can.
While the older kids are on rides with DH take some time with your DD and sit on a bench and share a drink. I always carry light snacks too as I find blood sugar likes to drop pretty quickly on me.
You'll have a great time.

I went to Disneyland when I was 20 weeks pregnant with Twins - and I had a great time. I talked to our OB before I went just to be sure that I was okay on rides - he said as long as I didn't do roller coasters I was good. If you are at all worried about what rides you can do talk to you OB or midwife they should be able to put you at ease about what is okay and what isn't. My only issue was some of the kiddie rides I didn't fit very well with my belly - I was the size of a house already but it was so much fun. We went all day and I was fine as far as energy level after two days I did need a nap in the afternoon on the 3rd day though.

You must have been tired after being pregnant for 24 MONTHS :rotfl:

Hm, it seems that as long as you rest throughout the day when you need time to sit down and have a lot of water on hand you will be fine.

Sounds as though the trip is all about you and the little snowflake. Wondering if any thought or planning took into consideration that the 8 and 13 y/o are there too. I would not worry about snowy having a great time, heck she is not even 2. The older 2 would be my main concern and I would do all in my power to make sure they realize that their feelings are a consideration. Hookairs if your husband takes them and goes on big rides? Not like you or snowy can ride ToT or Mission Space, kwim? Also will give you some more alone time with the snowflake.

I can't tell from your post whether your DH is concerned about YOU, and makig sure you don't over exert yourself, or if he is worried that you "won't be able to do much" and slow the rest of the family down/be a drag on their schedule? Hopefully it is the former! ;) It sounds like you are prepared and know what to expect with your younger dd and to split up if necessary, which is good! I think it will work out fine!

Rest whenever you can and use the attractions to do so. If you need a good break, hop on the train... I want to say it takes at least 20 minutes to circle the park. Hit up the riverboat, catch Hall of Presidents, Philharmagic, etc. Any attraction that will allow you to sit for a nice little breather will help extend your energy for the rest of the day.

Your husband seems very concerned. I was always exhusted at that point. I'd suggest chilling with your youngest and letting the others run off and have fun. You seem to go to Disney a lot. It will be there next time, and your little one will be more able to understand and enjoy the world.

I agree. Just sit down and rest at a play area and let the youngest play a bit. Dad and the two older kids can ride a few things or whatever while you rest.
