Honestly I have never paid much attention about it as our young'ins are in their teens now. But thinking I would like to go.

When is it?
What are the hours?
How much is it?
It is in the MK, correct?
Do adults dress up?
How much detail do they go into?
Are the costumes bought or handmade?
Masks or face paint?

Oops, I forgot- the official time is from 7 til midnight, but when we went this past Oct, we got into the party at 4 ph, thanks o all the tips we got from the Dis! About the costumes...if you are referring to the CMs at the party, yes their costume are really nice, some are pretty eloborate. If you are talking about the visitors, some were not dressed up at all, some were in very simple costumes and some went all out, I'm talking like professional costumes...we went and saw practically the whole crew from POTC~~~they were so "real looking" that some of the CMs were stopping them to get their pics! We also saw 3 people dressed up like Jack Sparrow, 1 who looked so much like him, people really thought he was Johnny Depp! Mostly all the kids we saw were dressed up, you know most little girls were Princesses, not really eloborate but very cute. More adults dressed up than I thought would, we aren't into that so I thought most of them looked pretty silly, but hey, it's WDW, anything goes, right. It rained for the 1st few hours that we were there, I really didn't see anyone doing face painting, but again, we may have missed them, and I wouldn't suggest a mask for a child, but that's just me.
