It's spectacular. Any specific questions? We got the Arancini Risotto. I thought it was a bowl of risotto, but it turned out to be fried risotto balls. There weren't many of them so I was bummed, but then one bite and WOW. Also got a chicken and pasta dish of some sort. It's the best chicken I've ever had outside of Bobby Flay's Spanish restaurant in Manhattan. And I order lots of chicken cause I'm not very adventuresome with meats. Flavors, sure, but not meats. Wife also got the cheese plate. While I think cheese plates are overpriced and not worth it, they did add some nice touches like fig things and different types of homemade raisins. Those were awesome and we could have had a plate of just that.

I am glad you asked this Lynn because we are going to be trying it in September.

I am with you spacemonkaay, I do not enjoy cheese plates unfortunately because I really like cheese. I have a problem with the visually moldy chesses and I don't like figs... sigh. Is that risotto an appitizer or an entree?

The Arancini Risotto is an appetizer.

Citricos is one of my favorite restaurants. I haven't been there in about a year, but I still remember my last meal there. I had the gateau of crab, boneless short ribs (don't see them on the menu anymore though), and the berry gratin. Everything was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to try it again during my Sept/Oct trip.

Citricos is my favorite restaurant on property. We have always had great food and service. We've had a few of the servers multiple times-Chafik, Nadim & Bruce. We really enjoy dining here every year for the food and atmosphere. These are pictures from my birthdy dinner last year- it was awesome:

Goat Cheese "truffles" on frisee

Gateau of Crab, crab soufle with orange fennel cream-this is amazing

Love Citrico's! Awesome Food. Wonderful environment! We went twice during our trip. Once I had reserved before we left home and was on the DxDp. The second was after we were off the plan and we paid Out of Pocket. WE made the second reservation after we had eaten their the first time and loved it so much. It was a wonderful expereince both times.

Dont hate me, BUT......................................

We thought it was just OK when we went in 2007. We had been to the Cali Grill a couple of nights previously and tried to rebook again but it was full so the CM suggested Citrico's as a fine dining alternative.........Dindnt actually dislike anything and the food was good, I suppose we just enjoyes CG that bit more

Does anyone know if you can see Wishes from Citricos?

You can see an occasional firework if you are in one section of the dining room but you definitely cannot see the whole display. You also do not hear the soundtrack nor do they dim the lights.

We went to Citricos for the first time in over 10 years on our trip last November. The restaurant was named Flaglers the last time we were there. We thought it was the absolute best meal we had on our entire trip, even better than California Grill! I know our kids will put it high on the list of places to return to on our next trip. DH and I won't have a problem with returning as we loved it as well.

We absolutely LOVE Citricos!! Its a beautiful dining room, that has an upscale yet comfortable feeling about it. Also the chairs are the most comfortable on property in my opinion. The bread is great (they serve it with this butter that is sprinkled with sea salt!) For appetizers, the gateau of crab (or a crab cake without all the breadcrumb filler) as well as the truffled potato soup are to die for! The filet for an entree with the cheese crushed potatoes are also pretty damn good! lol I've only had the lemon cheesecake for dessert and even if I didn't like anything else on the menu I'd go back just to have this!! Its not too tart, but not too sweet, just perfect!!

If you wind up going, ask for Jose as your server...He's great!!

Thanks so much for the info guys!!! It sounds great, but now I'm torn on either here or Narcoossee.AHH. I could do both, but we already have our other meals picked.
