Tell me all about BCV!

I was able to book a 1BR at BCV for New Year's Eve. Hooray! I've never stayed there (I've stayed at the regular Beac Club, but never the Villas). Tell me all about it! What to expect, etc. The only request I have is for non-smoking.

Rooms are about the same layout as SSR, but with a different decor. I haven't stayed at BWV, but I would think they are similar to those villas too.

We love BCV. Nothing like the large walk-in shower, jacuzzi, full kitchen and in-room laundry facilities.

I like its location next to the main Beach Club hotel complex. Groceries are close by, restaurants and of course Storm-A-Long Bay.

It's a short walk to Boardwalk & Epcot...and a quick boat ride to MGM.

There is also a nice quiet pool if you don't feel like the walk over to the big pool. I find the entire resort to be very relaxing.

BCV is one of our favorite resorts. Here are some things I love about BCV.

1. Able to walk to Epcot & MGM
2. Great restaurants on site
3. Close to the board walk area
4. The pool
5. The sand castle club (babysitting room)
6. The new fast food area has great sandwiches
7. The atmosphere
8. View of the lake

You cannot ask for an Epcot view at BCV (they discontinued this), but if you ask for a Woods View there's a chance you'll get an Epcot view. It's nice to be sitting on your balcony and watching the higher Illuminations fireworks at night. I also like to ask for top floor.

BCV is a wonderful resort. It is our second favorite DVC resort. The main pool is amazing, we just love it. Our only complaints about BCV is many of the villas have a less than great view and the villas are quite a walk from the main pool, restaurants and the boat dock.
