I feed both of my dogs and my cat Fromm's. They love it! It is made locally, so I have no trouble getting it.

Just an FYI...my friend recently switched her 2 dogs over to Blue Buffalo. They didn't like it at all! She's going back to Fromm's, which her girls loved.

There is nothing special about senior dog food. The best thing for a dog with arthritis is remove grains and starchy carbohydrates of their food and make sure he is at a healthy weigh. Again great dog food that are grain free wellness core, taste of the wild. For the Glucosamine you should get a supplement that provides enough amount of glucosamine I don't think I found one dog food that has enough glucosamine for a dog with arthritis. Omega 3 fatty acids are great to reduce inflammation which will be a great extra regardless which dog food you feed him. If you wanted further recommendations in which kind of food to feed him within a brand Taste of the Wild has vets answering their questions and they can guide you to which of their formulas are better for your case. Thank you, this has helped me out a lot. She is at a healthy weight and is already on Dasuquin prescribed by the vet but the vet never told us about removing grains and and carbs which the new pet food we bought has 3 types of rice in the top 10 ingredients. Can you pick up Taste of the Wild at Petsmart or Petco?
