I booked a dinner ADR here for my mom and I on Mother's Day. Have never been before- is it yummy? we already plan on being in the MK that evening, so it's the perfect setting I think.

We thought the food was pretty good and lots of yummy desserts. The interaction with the characters was good, too. The restaurant is very pretty inside and out. The only thing I didn't like was that the tables are sooo close together. It felt a little crowded, but certainly wouldn't keep me from going back!!!

We thnk the CP dinner is very good. I just wish it were not quite so expensive. (And I know there are othere character meals that are more expensive, I just wish that CP at dinnertime was a bit less. We thnk the food here is some of the best on-property buffet you can find. One of our favorites :-).

agnes!

Well I didn't eat there for dinner, but I did for breakfast. The food was great, so I wouldn't be surprised if the meals for dinner are good too :)
Plus, the atmosphere is awesome.

We went with our then 2 1/2 yr old DS over President's Day weekend 2004. We were pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. It wasn't gourmet, but it was very good buffet food. The character interaction was great, though it took some time for them to get to us. I didn't have a problem with it though - I thought they did a good job considering all the people there. The only thing that was the slightest bit anoying was how long it took to get seated with our ADRs. I can't remember what our time was or how long we waited, but it took awhile. This was trying with a 2 yr old but maybe isn't a worry for you since it's just you and your mom.

Have fun!

And I am not just talking about buffet prime rib. It was truly excellent. I also had this great roasted pork. It was definitely my favorite buffet that we went to (okay except Boma). I would go again.

I woke up on my birthday morning in February and decided I wanted to go to Crystal Palace - we had not been there before. I was lucky enough to be able to get a table for two (DD9 and myself) and I was so glad that I made this choice. We really enjoyed it. The food was good, the service was good, and the characters were fun.

I ate there last Sunday night and it was my favorite dinner of the entire trip. The food bordered on gourmet in my opinion, even though it was a buffet. The salads and vegetables were not typical for buffets and were extremely tasty. The meats were delicious. The desserts are the best I have ever seen on a buffet in my life.

Character interaction was good, even though every table in the place was taken. The characters also do a little parade around the restaurant with all the kids once each hour.

I loved the place and would definitely make a return trip there!!!

I have eaten there twice before. I thought the food was pretty good but the interaction with the characters is great. The place is also very very pretty. I also found the tables too close together and it is quite noisey in there.

The food was pretty good. We didn't have the best experience with the characters. We had to wait forever for Pooh, he kept getting called to another table. When he finally got to us the kids were just to tired and ready to go. It just wasn't my favorite place of the trip, but a lot of people love it.

Sounds like the food will be yummy! thanks all!

the Food is AWESOME

...the desserts.... well..... I would save the calories and opt for a Dole Whip or a treat from the candy shop or the main street bakery.

Always a must do. This is our favorite restaurant at Magic Kindom.

We have done breakfast and dinner many times, never had a bad experience. A very pretty restaurant, a little chaotic at times, but it is a character meal.

I've always found the food to be very good. There are enough choices. I'm not a big meat eater and do not care for casseroles which make up half the food items here. Yet I love the other choices and never leave hungry. My DH loves the food here.
