Been looking for a 2 or 3 BR and saw they were highly rated and recently won an award from TripAdvisor.

The price seems good, but makes me think the place may be outdated.

Also, not sure if it really qualifies as a resort. It looks nice but really just seems to have a pool, nothing else.

Anyone care to share their experiences?

Just got back from our 2nd stay here and the experience couldn't have been better! Great front desk staff who bent over backwards to get us in out condo early and put us close to the pool and breakfast.

Found out 3 bedroom, 2 bath had no problems and was nicely furnished. Loved the screened in balcony overlooking the pool! Never thought the place was outdated.

If you are looking for a full blown resort with all sorts of activites, this isn't your place. But if you want nice accomodations with a free continental breakfast and nice pool, then this fits the bill.

Also couldn't beat the price of $119/night (plus tax) thru travelzoo.com which waived all fees.

:cool2:

My Bro and SIL stayed there last June, found a great rate on Travelzoo of 99.00 all included, they loved it! They needed extra bedrooms, loved the space, and the pool. I can't remember which 2 main roads lead from there to Disney, but they said one of them was traffic free and awesome, the other was horrible at all times of day,so do your homework about which is the preferred road, but they gave it all thumbs up!

Thanks for the info, it's staying on the mental list for next time.
We actually booked Marriott Sabal Palms on points from my SIL. Free room :cool1:

We stayed there for a night at the last minute last year - 3BR/2BA unit.

As a prior poster mentioned, it's more like 'a large hotel with a number of outbuildings and a pool' than a resort. Having said that - it was very very clean, and only slightly dated. (Think still had 'old style TV's' in the bedrooms, and slightly dated furnishings.) The screened porch was very nice, and plenty of room - especially for the price. We would use it again for a similar stay.
