Tell me about Whispering Canyon...

We went for lunch on the 4th of July and had rodeo rick for our server. I new about alot of the antics that go on there because of these boards but I didnt let my DH and my DS(12) in on it. well I asked for water because of the heat and I drank it very fast. The next thing I new our server came out carrying this HUGE container of water with the biggest straw I have ever seen and announced to the entire resturant that the lady over here has a drinking problem that he was trying to help her with and he asked one of the other servers what day were the meetings for the people with drinking problems and he said wednesday at 7 so he announced that I needed to be there wednesday! We had so much fun! My DH declared this his favorite meal of the whole trip! Mimimom

Oh my! I was jailed for "thieving" too!!

I've seen this happen... and it's really cute if your server is into the antics. Some servers will bring out a small set of "bars" (like jail cell bars) and set it in front of the person. One poor fellow had to eat dinner through his "jail cell" for "thieving" ketchup. He was a good sport... so much so that his server made a napkin "headress" (complete with straws for feathers) for him to wear.

The Whispering Canyon is a contradiction to it's name. However, it's really fun. Just don't ask for ketsup.

Yep, I had the bucket of water, apparently with a splash of tea in it and gummie worms because I was trying to "drink the lake dry" The guy next to us thought he would be "wise" and asked for a small water....he got a thimble!!!

just wondering, I made dinner reservations for boyfriend and I. if one of us orders the skillet and one of us orders a different entree, can we share the skillet (which is all you can eat) without being charged extra? we are on the meal plan.

Nope they weren't. We all had the skillets and ordered dessert seperate
