Has anyone seen this film? It is a film right? What age group would this be appropriate for? DD10 is learning about body changes, etc in science class and I wondered whether this might be an OK thing for her or if it might be too advanced.

Any opinions?

I think my youngest daughter was about 10 when she saw it. I think it is very well done and be very appropriate for your daughter.

It is a humorous and interesting touch of education in procreation done at about the level for a 9 year old. Absolutely nothing offensive and watchable by virtually anyone at any age.

It's Martin Short and his brand of goofiness. I think the movie is very sweet. The woman who is the lobject of his "lust" becomes his wife and they start a family. Nothing but traditional stuff here... I remember thinking that if you had already "had the talk" with your kids, they would "get" what was happening, but if you had NOT had "the talk," the film was rather ambiguous. My dh and I laughed that WDW was as good a place to learn about the facts of life as anywhere.

We have seen this several times with our kids at various ages. I agree with Colleen, we took ours when they were preschool and there was nothing offensive about it. It is more of a love story and doesn't really show anything too advanced. Kinda like "It takes a mom and dad to make a baby," and then it shows the baby in the womb. Very sweet, we love it!!!
