I ordered one three and a half weeks ago and it should be here this week, so right at four weeks. It comes from china so delivery takes a while. Really looking forward to getting it!

I was told by a Verizon store that non-Apple stores wouldn't get any in until all the on-line and Apple orders are filled. Then the non-Apple stores will be able to get their orders filled.

My husband opened his today - a day early. He loves it and was totally shocked that I surprised him with it. He loves the black, 32GB, WiFi option that I picked, too. He's playing with it now, of course. Tomorrow we'll get a case for it since he's leaving on Monday for another business trip.

I got mine last week at Best Buy. I walked in and just happened to hit a day when they got a shipment in.

They had mostly 32gb wifi ipad 2 models in black. They said this is the most popular model. I got one.

I am really enjoying it.

I ordered the AT&T package $14.95 and I got it for one month. It renewed itself, because I didn't call and cancel. It will only renew once though. Right now I am connected by our home WiiFi.

My sisters made fun of me by taking it along to WDW, but they weren't laughing when SouthWest Airlines cancelled our flight last month while we were at WDW. I found different flights home vs. staying 3 more days, because that was SW first flight available.


The touch screen takes me longer to do certain things, I am used to a regular computer. Plus it doesn't support Flash. Lots of video's and my regular e-mail is supported by Flash, so I have to forward a lot of my e-mails to a different e-mail account. and on the Dis, I have to remember to spell out words and not abbreviations. see the uncapitalized s at the beginning of a few of my sentences? I tend to make a lot of typos. I never have typos with a regular keyboard.

Did you call the Apple store ask if they're getting daily shipments. My husband got mine a couple weeks ago at the Apple store by waiting in line starting at 7:30 then around 8:30 then come out and give you a ticket for what you want, then they open the doors (only for people buying ipads) and as my husband says "They have a well oiled machine for extracting money for your wallet" , you go through a line and someone gives you your ipad and he was home by 9:30.

It took about 4 weeks to arrive so order early.

The shipping time if you order online from Apple is now down to 1-2 weeks.

I call my Apple store every single day and get the same answer. I'm about to just order one online and hope it comes before I go back to work in 2 weeks.

My Ipad 2 will be here in three days and I am really hoping the otterbox case gets released soon for it. Anyone else waiting for one? We have otterboxes on both of our Iphones and feel they have earned their keep

Check for it in 2 days. The tracking kept telling me the 27th so I was all ready to sit home and wait for it. I went out on the 26th and came home to a Fed Ex notice that they came.

We have a 32 GB that we got at Best Buy. Our Best Buy has them in stock by the way, I was just there yesterday. I didn't go with the 3g because we only use it in the house and we have iphones that we could tether it to if we ever needed to to.

I love it. My DD 9 is insanely crazy about it. She uses it every day. I don't think I would ever buy another laptop after using the ipad.

We went to Apple and Brookstone. Neither had good cases. Apple had the Smart Case but we wanted one to cover the back as well. Target had the best supply and we ended up getting one there that is a case as well as something that can prop it up.

I didn't go with the 3G option because I can get a mobile hotspot device for free and still only pay $30 a month. That saves me $129. I got a white 32GB. If it were just for me I would have gotten a 16, but since I will be letting DS use it on car trips and such I figured the bigger one was better this way I can put movies on it for him for when we fly and take car trips to keep him entertained. We take a lot of weekend trips during the summer.
