Tell Me About the Christmas Treats!

I'm so excited! We're heading to WDW on December 11th until the 18th. Since I'm pregnant and really can't enjoy too many rides, I'm really looking forward to enjoying all of the tasty Christmas treats!!! So, tell me, what do they offer around Christmas???

Gingerbread! Take a trip on the monorail to the Grand Floridian. They have a life-sized gingerbread house and there is a little shop inside. I highly recommend the "shingles" which are squares of gingerbread coated with chocolate! They also sell boxes of chocolates where the box itself is edible.

In the parks, there will be cookies, cakes, hot chocolate, hot apple cider, etc.
Epcot will have seasonal treats from their respective countries. Too many to list, you will enjoy it!

The Food and Wine Expo will be at Epcot the the first couple of days on ur trip so make that park early. Also eat to the beat at USA area. It's free and good entertainment.

White hot chocolate! I got it at the sweet shop at DHS, but I imagine they sell it lots of places. Get it with marshmallows because they melt into the hot cocoa and it is AMAZING!

I would say the apple cider with Spiced Rum, but since you're pregnant, that isn't really an option, lol.

The holiday sandwich at Earl of Sandwich...

Its turkey, dressing, and cranberry sauce...yum!!!

They are available all year round - but taste especially yummy around the Holidays...Mickey Gingerbread Cookies. Super soft and the perfect amount of spice - plus ears dipped in chocolate.
Be aware during the Holidays they can be hard to find and sell out fast (we learned the hard way). Finally scored them at Goofy's Candy Co in DTD.

ps. buy extra - they make a fantastic breakfast.

This is my EXACT advice as well. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the shingles at the GF. Man, I wish I had one right now...ha ha!
