tell me about the Carribean beach resort vs Value

I was always looking at value hotels, but the Carribean was also showing up in the quote and wondered how much of a difference? Do they have connecting rooms, . where are the best locations to be close to bus and restaurants? Do they have preferred rooms like Values?

How are the restaurants and Food choices. Or should i save the extra few hundred bucks and go value.

that say - I don't like the CBR - it is too spread out for me.

now if you like to walk then CBR is a great resort.

the differences between it and value resort - it has a marina so boat and bike rentals, it has a restuarant as well as food court. It has a slide at the main pool. It has a hot tub at the main pool. values don't.

all that say I happen to love Pop Century. It is a fun place for a good price.

and yes CBR has preferred rooms for the same reason that the values do - lots of people want to be as close as possible to the food court.

CBR is a beautiful resort. It isn't that bad of a walk from anywhere except Trinidad South.

We really enjoyed CBR, and we HATED All Star Sports. I am afraid to try any other values -- EVER. The room was so tiny, so noisy, everywhere was so crowded even in off season, we just generally hated the loud and bright theming, the boring pool, etc.

CBR is pretty and festive. It is spread out, but we kind of liked that, and each area seemed to have its own pool. We were in a water view which maybe qualifies as preferred and costs a bit more? Not sure since it's been quite a few years. We would stay at CBR again if we didn't own DVC. We also really liked the food court.

We stayed at CBR during this past trip 6/8-6/16. We loved it! We liked the overall atmosphere better then the values(but we did enjoy our stay at POP in 2005) but my 7 yr old DS enjoyed CBR so much that he keeps asking when will we return. We stayed in Jamaica bldg 44 facing the courtyard. Excellent location to bus stop and bridge leading to foodcourt/pool areas. CBR will always be high on our list of resorts at WDW
