I know dd's would love it for breakfast...but...do they have any savories there??....(Mom--me--would love a bagel and coffee)...
Six days to go!!!

Thanks in advance

They have bagels w/cream cheese, yogurt, fresh fruit: cantalope , honey dew, strawberries, juices, milk: white, choc, strawberry, coffee, tea and the MOST incredible assortment of pasteries you will ever want to see! Excellent! Enjoy!!

How about a REAL chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich? Not the premade/frozen ones sold in the carts. We're talking about a scoop of ice cream between two fresh chocolate chip cookies.

That's good stuff.

Hello,

The apple turnovers and chocolate croissants are superb. These are not generic, shrink wrapped pastries, but much better than I usually can find around home. Plus you can't beat the atmosphere, and the prices are very reasonable.

Hope that helps,

Take care,

Bill

Can you tell me where on Main St. the bakery is and is there tables to sit and have breakfast?

Hello,

The bakery is on the right side of Main St as you walk in, almost to the end of the 2nd block. There are tables inside, but it's a small area and tends to fill up.

Hope that helps,

Take care,

Bill

We were planning a trip to the bakery this Thursday morning! :D
Can someone tell me if the coffee is good? I heard a rumour that all you could get at MK is instant!!! Please say it isn't so!!!

I'm sure they have bagels!

Thanks MajorWoody! I have been to MK about 6 times, and for the life of me I can't remember seeing it! I know it's there!

I know it's not savory, but the absoute thing you have to try is the French Toast Loaf. Layers of bread, cinnamon, and butter. Yummy!

Four words: Cinnamon Rolls! Cinnamon Rolls!!!

Here's a seating tip- there are very few tables inside. Instead, take your tray outside and head back towards the front gate. Make a left into the first alley you come to and go all the way to the back. There are some absolutely secluded tables back there.

Thanks to all who replied to my post..you guys are totally awesome...and thanks to you Tom...for the tip about the secluded seating!!

The Bakery is AWESOME!! We just discovered it for the first time this past Nov. We got an outside table right out front of the shop. We had a lot of fun people watching and eating our very yummy treats! We also got to see the Main St. Dancers come down and entertain us. Very nice! The line may be long, but it was worth it.

Sounds great! :D Is it open all day? We are getting there late Sunday (this Sunday :bounce: ) and that would be a nice treat :D

We ate here this summer and loved it! We got on line about 10:30am for breakfast, and weren't served until 11am. It's a busy place! We just missed the hot breakfast items of quiche, and something else, that they stop serving at 11am.

There was quite a nice selection of yogurt, bagels, pastries, muffins and turnovers, but they were also serving some sandwiches at that time.

Another place to sit and eat is at the outside of the Plaza Restaurant. There are always plenty of tables out there, and many people were going there to sit. We fortunatey were able to get a seat inside.:):D:)
