What ar eyour thoughts? Is it really worth it? Is it fun?
There are 5 of us going....4 adults and my 2.5 yo. daughter. Is it good for young kids? What about the movies? Are they like monsters and aliens? The adults are not much into Sci-Fi....so I am not sure! How is the food?

We have one TS we might try and switch while we are in there next week..MAYBE for lunch..maybe for dinner. Not sure.

I might do this one or Momma Melrose or 50's Prime Time! Just trying to decide!

Thanks!

We ate there last Wednesday night and enjoyed it. The movies were not really movies but rather previews of movies. There was a short Tom and Jerry cartoon and another 30's era cartoon as well.

I had the Ruben snadwich which was very good and DW had a cheeseburger which was very good as well. Kids enjoyed their meals also.

Overall, the kids thought that it was cool sitting in the car and eating while watching the screen.

We go here every trip. The movies are those campy sci-fi clips from the 50s that are kind of dumb but so funny. First time we went my DDs were 5 & 7. They loved it and laughed. The food was good too. I didn't have a burger either. I forget what I did have but I'm not a burger person so I know it wasn't that :rotfl: The cars are cool. 2 persons per seat but I think I read somewhere that you can request a chair for the end, not positive though.

Can anyone tell me what clips are played? I was trying to explain to DD12 and Dfiance that it's old movie clips and the silly B-rate movies, not anything really scary and good (they like scary, I don't). But I couldn't remember any of the clips that people had said before. Of course, I doubt they will have heard or seen them anyway.

I asked DD12 if she would be ok in a booth by herself or would she prefer me to sit with her while dfiance - (will be DH by then) sat by himself and she said No, she wouldn't want to ruin a possible romantic moment on our honeymoon. :lmao:

With 5 of you, one will be sitting alone as the cars are made up of 3 seats for 2 each. It's very difficult to talk as everyone faces the movie screen. The food-burgers are okay, everything else is pretty bad. Kids love sitting in those cars and getting drinks with the lit ice cubes.

The only movie clip I can think of that I know the name of is the Attack of the 50 ft Woman. There's clips with the giant man who they try to give a tranquilizer to with a huge syringe. There's the guy marooned on the island with all of the "babes". There's the monster that looks like he has hot-dogs sticking out of his mouth (yup, great special effects). I'm from this era and I remember these films but not the names. And then they have the spots that were the actual intermission breaks from the drive-ins back then which I remember also along with some old TV commercials.

It's a very unique experience and I think it's worth going for that. The food though, not so great.

I don't remember most, but two of the clips I remember were Attack of the 50 ft. Woman and Attack of the Giant Iguana (or something like that).
