Scat Cat's Club, what is it? How is it?

We LOVE this club. We go there every time we visit WDW. Elliott Dyson is just a great performer. He really gets everyone into the music and it is great for both kids and adults.

We are getting married this November in WDW and put POFQ in our room block. Our wedding is on a Monday and the Saturday before the wedding we are telling all our guests (about 50 people) that we will be at the Scat Cat Club from 9:00 to midnight to listen to Elliot play. This way people can enjoy the parks during the day and evening and on the way back to their room they can stop off and hang out for a while.

Elliott performs Wednesday through Saturday fro 9:00pm to midnight.

I am not sure if you can get food there but the club is right next to the Food Court at POFQ and you can bring your food over and listen to him.

The Scat Cat Club is the lounge at POFQ. Elliot Dyson performers Wed. thru Sat. evenings. He's a great performer.....plays oldies, blues and jazz. We always make sure to catch his show as often as possible when we are there. It would be well worth your while to stop in for a drink and great entertainment. We will get to see Elliot this Saturday!!

Plays Piano? or What? The reason why I asked is because I know there is another Lounge at POR that has a Piano man? Help! Now Im confused haha

The Piano Man is at PO Riverside (I think his name is Bob). Elliot play an organ and alot of horn instruments (he is one of the Blues Brothers at Universal).

Thanks for all the information! For those of you that have been to both Lounges (POFQ, POR) Which do you like better? Ive heard that piano man adds comedy into his show?

Is Elliot's show more 'low key' than Bob's? We went to the bar at POR one night when he was performing and it was a wild time, very good for the kids, but not that relaxing for adults IMO.

We have never seen Bob but Elliot is alot of fun but not too crazy. Not many jokes - he plays and sings alot of good music. Sometimes the kids there get up and dance infront of the stage but never too crazy. It is actually in a lounge outside the bar so if you sit in the bar area it is probably less noisy.

Its very nice there, we find his style of entertaining very relaxing as just two adults, great wings and mozzarella bites too. Can't wait to spend our first evening there in December.

One nice thing is that Elliot Dyson used to play at the Pleasure Island Jazz Company (I think that's what it was called), but now you can go to Scat Cat's and hear him for free. For jazz fans, he sometimes plays a lot of jazz songs later in the evening.
