Do any of you know if the PFF changes during the slow season with only 2 princesses, or is it always 3? Is this also part of MM or only a chance to wait in line an extra hour before they open. Can you ask who will be there before getting in line?
I really appreciate all of the information so far. I have one daughter that must meet Aurora or she may just *die*

the other wants to meet Snow White, but she rolls with the punches much better. If there is little chance of meeting them, I had better start preparing my girls now.
Pamb
We were there during the slower season, early December, and it was 3 princesses.
It doesn't matter who is in there when you get in line, because they are switched out often. While we were in line, at least two princesses were swapped, b/c Cinderella left and Mulan was changed out for Pocahontas. There's just no way to know who is in there, as far as I know.
It is not part of MM, in fact I think the PFF doesn't even open until an hour or so after the park opens. We were there in the early afternoon, so I don't know what the line-up looks like before it opens.
With TWO girls who want to meet specific ones, I might try eating at Ariel's...but still, I've heard they aren't all always there...but at least you are in the restaurant for longer than you're actually with the princesses at PFF.
(read on for more info outside of the meeting line)
but I just need to clear up some questions for a friend of mine. She`s going in 3 wks with her ds5 and dd4, and DD is, of course, beside herself with excitement about meeting the princesses.
So how does PFF actually work (sorry - punctuation on computer doing funny things - can`t make question mark work!!) Do you wait outside in the line to get in, then wait in separate lines once inside for all the different `events` such as the storytelling and interaction with the princesses

sorry - she`s asking me how all this works (cause I am major research queen) and I can`t help her, cause I confused too!
Any help would be appreciated, and sorry for threadjacking your thread, twinpluscade!
I don't know what the area looks like when it first opens.
But when we were there, the only line, with ropes and such, was for the meeting with princesses. It's the typical queue-up with a big wall separating the line from the princesses. Then you reach the CM at the front of the line, and
he keeps you occupied, then when it's time you're allowed around the corner.
But the other things, in our experience, there was no actual line. The coronation ceremony seems to be held on the stage further into the Faire than the meeting is held, and there are bleachers set up for that. But down on the floor in front of the stage is the little area to the side for the storytelling. Storytelling happens more often than the coronation, I believe (there are schedules on a sign before the stairs down to the stage area), and when we were there it was really low-key. They have little round carpets to sit on; the older kids sat by themselves while their parents relaxed in the bleachers, and the younger kids had a parent or two with them.
This angle is from where we were specially sat for DS to dance with her, but you can see a bit of the area where the princess told her story from, you can see the people watching the storytelling, and you can see the set up on the stage where the coronation ceremony is held:
Here's more of the storytelling throne (and you can see the lady in waiting that asked DS to dance with Aurora):
As far as the crafts area, I think that was to the left of the queue to meet the princesses, before you got to the stairs to the stage area. Over there is also the food place (where as Hound, I believe, just found out sells bratwurst, LOL).
Over far to the right of the meeting queue is the shop area where you can buy princess dresses, and, I hear, have a little makeover done (for a fee).
