We "moved up" from the All-Stars for this trip, and after reading a lot of information on this board we picked POFQ.
The resort is smaller than POR, but easily walkable. We were in Building 2, third floor, poolside, near the boat dock. Not noticably noisy at any time of the day or night.
Rooms have a ceiling fan, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, and a dual bathroom sinks in a dressing room behind a curtain, a feature we really liked.
Pool has a nice water slide and is laid out so that you can get away from the slide if you just want a leisurely swim or soak.
there is a hot tub behind the poolside bar, and a jungle gym/playground in Mardi Gras colors behind the laundry room.
Food court was typical, but did have beignets every morning and some New Orleans style foods for dinner.
CM's were very attentive and friendly.
Walking to POR takes about 15 minutes. At POR you can rent bikes, surrey bikes (four people), boats, and get an evening carriage ride around both resorts (another feature we liked).
There is a launch that rund to Downtown Disney every 10 minutes after 4 PM, about every 20 minutes before 4 PM.
Had dinner at Boatwrights in POR one night and was pleasantly pleased with the quality, service, and atmosphere.
Magical Express can get you boarding passes at the hotel when you leave, so you don't worry about the luggage and go straight thru security to the gate.
We'd stay at POFQW again
