Tell me about POFQ

WE LOVE POFQ!!!! Stayed there for the first time last summer and fell in love! I've stayed at the AS, AKL, and Contemporary and I would go back to POFQ before all of them. I would second what most people have mentioned...smaller, quieter resort, lush green walkways and general scenery...nice pool for the kiddos, decent bus service if you get there on time...beautiful rooms....LOVED IT!

That time of year is considered "Value " so the resorts shouldnt be sold out and the parks shouldnt be crazy crowded. I was able to get a room at POFQ for Nov. 29 without any problem. Thanksgiving weekend is very crowded but by Monday things should be back to normal, with crowds staying away until closer to Xmas vacation weeks thru New Years.

Thanks everyone for the tips. i'm making reservations today. I read somewhere that there is entertainment at the resort. is this in the lounge? Of course, i also read about parades that nobody seems to know about. Maybe this is just something they do on spewcial occasions.
