Tell me about Marti Gras, worth it? fun?

Can someone tell me about Marti Gras at Universal Studios?

Is it fun, worth the money? is it crowded?

We will be in Orlando next Sat 2/3...I've never heard of the muscial group that is performing...

what can I expect?

enough time for rides?

lots of beads?

how long does it last?

any info you can provide would be most helpful!

Worth the money? Well...it is included with your daily ticket, so yes...very worth it.
You can expect lots of characters on stilts, lots of New Orleans based characters like the King and Queen of Mardi Gras, jesters, all kinds of cool stuff...a huge parade and lots of beads. The parade lasts for about 30 minutes or so, with the concert immediately after. Los Lonely Boys sings that song, I know you heard it..... "How Far is Heaven...lord can ya help me...yada yada" They play it every 20 minutes on music radio.
There are men and women that are scantily clad...but nothing too racy, and no bare breasts.
