Jiko is very nice. It's got a dark and quiet atmosphere so it's a great place for a special dinner. The appetizers here are very good, much better than the entrees. And they have an amazing wine selection that should not be missed.

One of my favorite meals is served at Jiko.

I love the maize crusted fish over vegetables with tomato butter.

I've had it served with monkfish, halibut and most recently wreckfish.

All are flaky white fish that are terrific with the sauce (ask for a bit extra on the side).

Just incredible.

The BBQ Chicken Flatbread is awesome and they have amazing goat cheese mashed potatoes!

The butternut squash soup is among the best we've ever had (including the one at Victoria & Albert's!). I had an African-spiced duck breast that was fabulous.

Ob man.... ENJOY! It was by far my favorite meal on my 10 day trip (and I didn't have a single bad food experience). I had the maize crusted wreckfish with tomato butter sauce and it was TO DIE FOR.
