I think that the family we are helping will be touring Epcot on Tuesday, November 22. The children are 8,9, and 10. In all of our trips, we have never made it in to Innoventions. Can you tell me about it, please? Do you think that it is something the children will enjoy?

Thanks!
Melanie

Innoventions is hard to explain IMO. I think there would be lots of areas the kids would enjoy, but I couldn't tell you what to look for. Innoventions is like going to a discovery science museum as a kid - there are lots of areas everywhere you look with different things to do. They have video games to play, simulated areas, lots of technology...really cool things. It's a lot of fun to go through, DH and I have walked through a couple times and always find several things that catch our eye. Definitely worth checking out, nice cool area with many many activities, games, and things to learn.

Okay, I think we will suggest this to the family. Thanks!

Thanks. Actually my daughter said that when I first started the thread. I guess I should have listened to her! :rotfl:

My kids loved the game "Toon Tag" in Innoventions when they were 8-10 years old. I think it is Innoventions West(not sure if it is West or East), and it is so much fun. Even now, my 11 and 12-year-olds still play a game on every trip.

Yep, lots of stuff, although as I said before, there is so much activity it's hard to explain what.... :confused3 They have lots of computerized things, little lessons, games, the house of Innoventions is cool....It's fun to just walk through a play with stuff like you're a kid again.

My daughter absolutely loved Innoventions when she was 10. We spent at least 2 hours doing whatever she wanted in there, and had a great time. She played the games, made paper, crawled through the ant farm (?), etc. When she was 13, she was a little less interested, and we basically walked through without doing much.

When I last visited Innoventins many years ago there was an amazing show in which robot arms manipulated spinning tops. I'm sure that's long gone by now, but is there anything else robot oriented in Innoventions? We'll be going in May and my son is very into robots.

Thanks!
