Tell me about Epcot Food & Wine Fest

This year we'll be down during the Food & Wine Fest and I want to know everything about it! How does it work, is it worth going to, is there a better day of the week to go to it? Everything and anything you can tell me!

I'd avoid going on the weekends. It's usually very crowded.

I love the food and wine festival.

Different countries have booths around Epcot world showcase where you can purchase food. The portions are usually small but its fun to sample different foods and wines/beer from around the world.

We've been to it many times and avoid the weekends like the previous poster said. If you are on the meal plan most everything counts as a snack credit. It's a great to try new foods that costs very little for each sample.

I would go when the park opens. Go to some of the attractions in Future World and then wen World Showcase opens, you can eat your way around the world! The lines at the individual food booths are very slow going. I was there last year the day it opened. During the day it was not too bad but that night we went to sample some more food and watch Illuminations and it was insane. You could hardly walk anywhere. And forget about getting any food or drink anytime soon. Hope this helps.
