Tell me about Dole Whips...

So the little frozen yogurt shop near where I live up in CT now sells Dole Whip! I'm in trouble. Although I kind of feel that if I go there, that I'm cheating on my Disney experience. I may have to resist until my trip in September so that it's still special.

There is actually a website in Hawaii where you can order the mix to make Dole Whips! I have thought about it many many times.....LOL. We live near Knoebels Amusement Park in Elysburg, PA and the one day we were at the park we stopped for frozen yogurt. I was reading the flavors and all of a sudden I screamed DOLE PINEAPPLE OMG!!! Here the owner of the shop loves Disney too and ordered the mix. Sometimes we drive up just to get a Dole Whip just to hold us over until we can go to Disney.

I've bought the mix and just be aware that unless you have a soft serve machine its not going to be the same.

I've never had one. Orange Leaf offers a pineapple flavor (also non-dairy) and I love it! Is the actual Dole Whip similar to Orange Leaf at all?

Just wanted to report back. We just got home and did indeed try the Dole whips! DD and I both had the vanilla/pineapple and thought they were yummy! We got one just before Wishes one night and intended to have at least one more during our visit, but never did. Still want to try the one with rum in it too... Thank you for the input here, so glad we tried them!
