We are leaving for Florida on Friday evening and plan to spend Saturday at DTD. I would like to know all about DisneyQuest and what I can expect. :confused3 Cost,Do you have to pay if you just watch, can you leave and come back? All information would be greatly appreciated. :) Thanks

I have never been to disney quest but we are going in feb. You do have to pay to get in. You can look it up in the disney world website. It lists the attractions and the ticket prices. I hope you have fun. Is this your first trip to wdw?

No this is'nt our first trip to WDW but it is for DisneyQuest. We have not been in the past 5 years. I want to go to DQ but I just want to watch my DH and DS1 and DS2. I plan to shop and take pictures.

I'm sure you have to pay to enter because there would be no way to keep track of "observers." You can come and go- may need a hand stamp or something.

We took DD6 and DS4 for the first time in February. We all really enjoyed the Pirates and the Jungle Cruise attractions. We didn't do any of the virtual reality attractions that require you wear a helmet because DS would have no part of that! We played TONS of "free" 80s video games and the kids played lots of skeeball, air hockey, etc. They called it Disney Chuck E. Cheese and loved every minute of it.

My family isn't particularly into video games. My kids were also too young for many of the major attractions. We had free upgrades on our tickets so going was worth it. I would have a really hard time actually paying because for us it WAS a Chuck E. Cheese experience (other than Pirates and Jungle Cruise.) I think we spent ~ 3 hours there.

I imagine kids (or adults) who are really into video games would love this place more than the parks! Teens and Tweens could probably spend multiple days here. It's fun, but not really worth the $$$ if your kids are too young for all the major stuff.

I just want to watch my DH and DS1 and DS2.

Wow. That might be too young. There may be very little for them to do there at those ages. My DH and DS8 will spend the afternoon at DQ while DS5 and I shop around the Marketplace. We just plan to meet up later. My DS5 enjoys video games but we found with his age and height, there really wasn't that much that he would be able to do there. My advice? Look up Disney Quest at www.Allears.net and read about the rides and games first. You may have a hard time finding something for the little ones to do.

Have a good time regardless! :)

I'm sorry let me clear that mistake I made. I have two DS 20 and 8.I'm sorry I mislead you. I'm new to this Dis stuff.

Ok-this makes MUCH more sense! :rotfl: Go enjoy-but yes, you will have to pay to get in even to watch them.
