Tell me about Disney in April ???

We are planning our next trip from April 8 to April 16, 2006. How are the crowds and the weather this time of year. This is the only time my daughter can go due to school. We went this past July and it was so hot that my hubby would prefer to go earlier than July again.

We love April. Hot weather(not as hot as July), little rain, and normally average crowds but this April Easter is on the 16th so it will likely be alot busier.

We usually go the first week in April and the weather can be very unpredictable. You will need to pack clothes for both warm and cool weather as it is sometimes very chilly in the mornings and evenings! That to me, is the biggest drawback to going that time of year (well, that and the crowds). You will have fun though; my DH hates the heat as well and after that first trip we took in April, he refuses to go in the summer anymore.

The week before and the week after Easter are generally very crowded, but I understand the school issue. We love the warm weather in spring and fall, it will be much nicer than July!

The weather is BEAUTIFUL! We have been the last two years and love that time. The crowds differ based on when Easter is. This year it may be more busy due to Easter being on the 16th. We are going down the tuesday after Easter as I got good deals on flights...lets just hope Delta (Song) is still around then!

Thanks for the info everyone. We went this past July 4th and the heat was awful. The crowds were also bad. My husband said he did not want to go in that kind of heat again, so summer is out of the question. So the only other time my daughter can go would be Spring break. That is why I was asking about April 8 thru the 16th. Are there any special things at the park for Easter???
