Tell me about Coral Reef

We don't love Coral Reef but like it okay. It's noisy, they usually seat quite a bit behind on their adr's and the service is sloooooowwwwwww. One thing to keep in mind, with a party of 8, there's a good chance you will be seated in the highest tier where the view of the aquarium will not be as good. We have usually been seated up there when we have went with groups this size.

We dined here last year and we considered it the worst restaurant of the trip. THe aquarium was nice but we could see that in the Seas pavillion anyway. We had terrible service and the food was poor as well. We complained to the manager and they just laughed it off and ignored us. I was so dissapointed becuase I had always wanted to eat at THe Coral Reef and I thought my honeymoon would be a great time to try it out. Unfortunately, it just didn't work out for us.

This happened to us, too. Our server was terribly rude and when we casually mentioned it to the mgr, he told us we were a "difficult" table!!!! We were not a difficult table, and even if we were, for the mgr to say that??? Very unprofessional.

It's true though that if you've always wanted to eat here, do it! All these restaurants appeal to people differently.

I went with a friend in October, only time I've been there. We both love shellfish, but not fish, so we both ended up having the steak. That was very good, but the potatoes were very stingy. It would be really nice on the dining plan if you could have an app OR dessert, would have loved the lobster bisque but it was too much food. Our server was very quick and pleasant. We were seated quickly right next to the aquarium -- we felt like the fish were trying to see what we were eating! A diver with a "happy birthday" sign came up right next to us (and the birthday girl, on the tier behind us, was VERY embarrassed and not happy with the attention! lol), and we saw one of the scuba tours going by. Would I go again? Probably not. If I'm going to eat steak, I'd rather go to Le Cellier. If my (fish-eating) sons and husband are with me, I'd do it again, but not on my own.
