Where are the good places to go dancing? What about for a show-is there a comedy club or anything? We'll have the Citywalk pass that comes with the $85 tickets. Is there anything we'd have to pay for (besides food/drink) to get into?

Thanks!

For dancing, there's the Groove, the Latin Quarter and Red Coconut. There's a jazz bar there, too, that we've never been to. I don't know if there's dancing there.

For comedy, I'm not recalling a comedy club per se. There is the piano bar in O'Brien's which gets everyone laughing.

You Citywalk pass should get you into all the clubs without having to pay an additional cover. Let me tell you, tho, the last few times we've tried to get into O'Brien's -- or even just the walkup window for a hurricane -- they've got the whole place roped off for private events. There ain't much notice for this, either. We tried to go on a Wednesday night for dinner, and it was roped off. Couldn't even get a dang drink to go!!! Then we tried again on Thursday, and it was roped off yet again for some halfway mark to St. Patty's day -- the cover was really high. At that point, we asked what night we might be able to come for dinner, and the manager couldn't even tell us. He said they often get a call in the morning for a private party that evening, and they'll rope it off for a private function. Frustrating to say the least!!!

You also have "A Tribute to Freedom" the Bob Marley place.........I am not sure about dancing there though..........cool place to hang.
For comedy you have "Bonkerz Comedy club" at "City Jazz", but thats only on the weekends........Thursday through Sunday, if I remember.
Bummer with Pat O's.........most of the time we want to go, it closed off too! I think its closed for private parties more than its open to the public :confused3 !!!!!!! Some day I would like to go.........I have heard the Pat O's has the best burgers around..........what can I say, I am a Hamburger conisuere :rolleyes1 !!!

Do you need to "dress up" for any of these places? Are shorts and a T ok? or do I need to haul down my "clubbing" clothes?
