My husband and I, are trying to decide on our ADRs .... and our parent's just love Citricos. We have never been. We did have dinner at Victoria & Alberts our last trip, & have debated going back this year --- but my parent's said, if we don't do V&A .... Citricos is a GREAT 2nd option. Any advice out there?? Is this another great dining experience??? I know V&A is amazing...but wondering if there are any Citricos fans out there ???

We have a good friend who raves about Citricos, so we're trying it in September. I'm kind of nervous that I won't like it!

We had an amazing meal at Citricos last October - wonderful food and service. Rather than say a whole lot here I'll post a review from that meal and you can see the food pics and make up your own minds.

:wizard: We ate there last August and loved it! Great food, service and atmosphere.

Thanks so much for sending the link to your review. AWESOME!!!!! Now I am super excited to go. Sounds like Disney took an "oops" and really turned it into "Disney Magic" at its best!

Now I have to decide what to eat!

Glad it helped! And the manager at Citricos really did a wonderful job in turning that snafu into a lovely memory. She was terrific! :thumbsup2

We have not dined there yet but plan on it for Oct...I have read many great reviews on it so it looks to be right up my alley!

The manager at my local watering hole says they save it for their special meal, without the kids, every year. And they have a very nice restaurant, so I would take his word for it. I know he would expect good food and good service, and he says they have never disappointed.

Go for it!

We dined there last November and loved it!

The last time DH and I had been at this restaurant it was called Flaglers........in other words, it had been over 10 years since our last trip there. We won't make the mistake of waiting that long again before returning here.

As a matter of fact, we just planned a trip for this coming December and the first restaurant everyone wanted put on the list was Citricos! ::MinnieMo

Citricos tops my list of Signature meals, here's my review: Citricos

Though if you want a sub for V&A, I'd head to Bistro de Paris. And here's the review on that: Bistro

With the exception of V & A's it's the best place on property. If I take a jacket with me we'll go to V & A's if not it's always Citricos. We've never had anything bad to say about them and have been there over 10 times.

We have loved this place since our first visit on our honeymoon in 2001. We go once or twice per visit. I love, love, love the gateau of crab, and I always try to get a new entree each time, but it's tough to bypass my favorites. You can't go wrong.:thumbsup2

Another fan of Citrico's. It is a must-eat for us each trip.

If looking for another suggestion it would be Todd English's bluezoo at the Dolphin.

Thanks for all the feedback !!! I am going to read the reviews now that were posted. I think we'll do this one ... as for Bistro de Paris and Bluezoo, those are (2) other's we have contemplated ... my husband used to work for Todd English, so we always toss that one around... But for this trip, I think we'll go for Citricos. Something tells me, it might be a hidden gem : - )

We have the same birthday, I think! And you and your DH look familiar -- I think I followed a really stellar trip report of yours a couple of years ago, when I was brand-new to the Dis and posting under a different SN (animal dreams). Huh, how cool!

More on-topic, I'm happy to hear the positive reviews of Citricos. My parents and I are headed there at the end of September to celebrate their anniversary. We almost went back to California Grill since we enjoy it so much, but we wanted to try something different.
