Tell me about BWPPI

For those who like this hotel can you tell me about it? What's a reasonable nightly cost and is there any way to get good deals? What are rooms and breakfast like? How is current housekeeping? I'm looking to book another option in case CCI is still closed next April. I chose CCI because of the shuttle: I'm travelling with my mum who is waiting on a knee replacement and thus is not all that mobile, so BWPPI might be a good option?

I'm staying there for the 1st time next week. I got the 2 double bed room for $189/night by booking 10 months in advance and being a rewards program member. I've watched the price escalate since I booked. I hear conflicting reports on housekeeping. Some say they had to ask for towels. Others say garbage was emptied and towels were replaced, so I'm waiting to see what my experience is. I know they rent mobility scooters in the lobby, so that might be a nice option for your mom. The location is unbeatable, we like to be super close for an afternoon rest, so that's why I booked it.

While I have not stayed at BWPPI, I have used the scooter rental in their lobby MANY times.
It's Select Mobility Scooter of Anaheim. They have nice scooters with batteries that will go from rope drop to close without any problem.

It can be difficult to find your scooter in the sea of other scooters and strollers.
A tip I like to share with scooter users is...
Take a bright yellow or green ribbon to tie on the scooter handle bars.
It makes it easier to locate if a CM moves it.

Lol my mum wouldn't be caught dead on a scooter! I think I've persuaded her to get a stick to lean on....proximity is key, but the hotel has to be nice or she won't be happy (and then I won't be happy lol).

What's the parking situation like at BWPPI? Is it hard to get a spot? We had an easy time finding a spot at Park Vue (right outside our room) but at Desert Inn, we had to use valet because self-park was always full which was kind of a pain.
