Tell me about Boatwright's.

Boatwrights is great. We eat there a couple of times evertime we stay at POR.

The service has always been great and the food is wonderful.

If you go for breakfast the bagette french toast and the strawberries and cream are fantastic.

The fun part is that if you've never been they make you set your own table with all of the utensils and napkins in a tool kit in the middle of the table. If you slack off the waitress will let you know it, but in a friendly way, not like at 50's Prime Time.

This is one of my favorites at wdw. Unfortunately, I probably won't make it over this trip, cuz I'm trying so many new places.

It is so funny how different people have totally different views and opinions on things. :)

My opinion on Boatwright's......It is the only restaurant at WDW that I can honestly say I will never want to eat at ever again. I have only had breakfast there, and can only comment on my personal experience, but we had bad food and horrible service. I would not recommend it to any of my friends, nor would I ever go back, as there are so many other WDW restaurants.

Of course, just as in most situations, others have no doubt had great experiences there. No one can tell you if you are going to like a restaurant. It is something you have to try for yourself and form your own opinion!!

Dh, DD & I had a late dinner there last August. We didn't go until about 8:30 and got seated right away with no PS. Susan was our server and was very pleasant and helpful. DD had thef ever plentiful chicken fingers and ff, but it was still good. DH had Pirogue O'Pasta and Seafood - Lightly blackened shrimp, scallops, catfish and mussels served over linguini with roasted garlic cream and I had Cotton Mill Pot Roast - Slow-simmered tender eye round of beef, buttermilk mashed potatoes and vegetables. We started with Garlic Cheese Bites which were really good, too. We skipped dessert as we were stuffed!! We would definately go back there again. Because it was late, we could hear Bob the Piano man, in the Lounge, and we were able to take our time and dine and relax.

Our experience!! Hope it helps!
