Will my 15 y/o son have much fun without any of his friends, and having to watch after his little brother (11 y/o) for periods of time, and having to spend time with his mom and little brother the rest of the experience? I figured some teenagers would have the better imput

well me and my brother are 12 and 15 and we are both taking a friend with us. i think with friend or without your son will have a blast1 but i recomend that he does take a friend with him because it will make it so much more fun!

Well, as we had hoped for this to be a family vacation, and limited funds, that would be difficult. Will he still have fun, or be utterly miserable?

have you ever been to disney? he will have a blast without a friend. we are making my friends pay for one of the meals and there tickets. when are you going?

Money is a bit scarcem, and most of his friends, if interested, wouldn't have enough, or are going somewhere else with their families.. We planned on going the end of July-ish. Are there any things geared towards teens, where he could be around people his ag, and get away from his uncool family?

I love Disney and I am 15. It does get a little annoying being with my mom all the time that I am down there. But it is still fun. Since the boys arent that far in age, they might like the same rides, so haning out with his brother probably wouldnt be that bad. And at the moment I am tryng to send a couple letters to people at Disney, I want there to be a place for teens to hang out without their parents in the parks. but until then, I'm sure he will have a great time, because seriously your in Disney, how can it not be fun?!?!?

I hope you have a great trip!! When are you going?

oh ok. i know he will have fun. he will love the rides and food! disney is truely amazing, have a good trip!!! i cant think of any places in park that teens hang out with but like wat 2hot2touch said he will have fun!

I am 15 and I've never gone with a friend to Disney and I have always had fun! It's a blast! My brother and I just walk around when our parents get sick of us or vise versa...it's fun! He will be fine, one fun thing to do is one night go out to Pleasure Island and visit the Comedy Warehouse and the Adventures Club...those are both very funny....and also there are a lot of teens that go to Disney Quest, and that can be fun as well! Hope you have a good trip!

To be honest...nope. I doubt it. I hope he does though!! :goodvibes:

Im sure he will have a good time, when i was 16 i went with just my mom and i had fun. its kind of a drag always having ur mom with you and i would have much rather had a brother to hang with. Im going this year at 17 with my mom aswell but i do get to take a friend so....but yea i would still think he will have a good time.
