Teenage Tour Group Nudity at ASMo Pool

I'm glad the guest are complaining about them. I worked in Merch at All Star and let me tell you! oh my...they are 15 groups from Latin countries celebrating their quinceaneras. the most rowdy and loud girls I've ever met. It's common in their country to wear thong bathing suits and they would wander in the store as such -__- They most didn't know I speak Spanish and they would talk about Americans in such a rude manner to the point I would have to break in and say Entiendo lo que dices <---I know what you are saying. That usually shut them up quick.

;):thumbsup2

I have seen them in hordes running through the shops knocking things over and trashing the place then running out. The chaperones can't do anything. Most of the kids are privileged and view the chaperones as paid help. It's a case of haves and have nots. They treat the chaperones like garbage and the chaperones just want to keep their jobs! They could very well get fired for speaking up to a wealthy persons child.

I didn't read the entire thread because, frankly, I damned near choked on my afternoon coffee, but wouldn't it be great to download pictures of these "children" and their shenanigans on the Walt Disney World website and watch the fun begin?

Now it's me chocking on my morning coffee :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Hilarious! Not exactly the image Disney wants of their parks or resorts!

I may be dating myself, but I remember a time DL did have a dress code for their parks, in the 60's :hippie: they didn't let boys with long hair in.

There is another tread with a similar comment about the BTGs at Allstar pool in their thongs. OT must have been there the same week as the person on PPer.

A few years ago at the Poly Volcano pool there was a family swimming and hanging out by the beach. The mom had a gorgeous body and apparently was very comfortable showing it off - she wore a thong and TINY triangle top. She only lasted out there maybe 10 minutes and all of a sudden several "executive" types came from somehwere(?) and spoke with her quietly. Next thing you know she had a towel wrapped around her and the family packed up and left. My DH and I didn't call attention to her so our kids didn't even seem to notice anything out of the ordinary, but obviuosly someone reported her, maybe the lifeguards? There were CM's at the pool running kid activities, so it could have been one of them, too. I'm surprised no-one (CMs I mean) did anything in the OP's situation, especially since it involved underage girls.

Unbelievable. There's no excuse for CMs to ignore the girls' behavior. It doesn't matter how much money they get from these tourist groups. Everyone else is paying good money for a nice vacation, too. Why should they have their good time infringed upon by out of control teenagers? And if the CMs have a language barrier, find a phone with translator, choose Portuguese, and say, "Put your tops on!" What if something had happened to one of these girls? Just because it's Disney doesn't mean there aren't weirdos and perverts lurking about. Then I'll bet the chaperones and parents would be all over Disney for not stopping their kids from behaving badly. It should be parents and chaperones duty to make sure the kids know how to behave on vacation, but apparently, they aren't capable. Disney needs to step up and stop letting them get away with it.

I've been at Disney in early June when there are groups of teens from other Latin American countries and haven't witnessed the sort of problems the Brazillian groups seem to cause. The early June groups are much smaller and appear well-controlled by their chaperones. Smaller groups and closer supervision would go a long way toward avoiding problems.

Maybe it's time for a Disney Rio. Based on the numbers of Brazilians that visit WDW each year, it could be a very lucrative development. That way they can lock arms, sit in the middle of walkways, chant every where and swim topless all day long where that sort of behavior is, evidently, tolerated.

Disney Rio sounds like a fabulous place for those that don't respect the concept of a family place like WDW!!!

This is America, all you precocious Brazilian teens!!!!!!!!!!!!Either respect "our rules and our American values, or DON'T VISIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" NONE OF US NEED TO BE TURNED OFF AT DISNEY BY THIS PRECOCIOUS BEHAVIOR! GO DO YOUR TOPLESS SUNBATHING AND SWIMMING IN BRAZIL!!!!!!!!:scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1:

I'm sorry, but I think it's creepy creeperson that you husband was sneaking peeks of naked girls who were the same age as your own teenage daughter. My husband is no angel, but if I caught him looking at that I would remind him his daughter is the same age and ask he would feel if that were her. Hopefully that would gross him out enough to quell the urge before I had to call in Chris Hanson from Dateline NBC.

To Catch a Predator: Disney World
You obviously have an an idealized version of your average male. :lmao:All straight men love ****ies, heck, I've known gay guys who like ****ies.

Plus, a lot of these girls look way older than their age. You have to start teaching girls about the concept of personal responsibility and how it can affect people's responses to them.Parents, if you don't want men looking at your daughters, stop letting them dress like little hoochy mamas. Very simple. I've seen preteens dressed like they were out to make a few bucks walking the street.

I hate complaning as well, but we were at Disney over the 4th , and there were alot of groups there,

We asked where they were from and a cast member told us Brazil cheerleaders.

We Never really complain at Disney about the amount of people as that is to be expected and I think handled very well by Disney, but these groups were very obnoxious and rude to everyone.
The loud chanting in the parks "Oh My" We brought it to a cast members attention about the loud chanting in the lines and they did say something to them as I was not the only one complaining. But we have decided that going during the 4th of July was prob not for us...lol....But it is Disney and normally if you say something about a illegitimate complaint it is normally dealt with ...

Everyone should learn a few key phrases in Portuguese.Since you may very well hear them speaking English, but they will pretend they don't understand a word of it if you try to address any of their bad behavior.A few phrases I need to learn:
Sit Down, Shut up
There is a line here, and NO you can not cut in front of me

I need: "No, you can not jump in my photopass picture with Snow White."

I thought I´d add some comments to this somewhat heated discussion....

I am an American who married a Brazilian . I have 3 beautiful children and we live in Brazil . One of my children is a 14 year old teenage girl.

I am a teacher at a local high shcool , therefore I have a lot of contact with Brazilian teenagers.

My entire family lives in the States ( in Iowa and California) , so we visit a lot . I went to high school in CA and my father was a teacher there.

Brazilians flock in hoards to Florida for several reasons:

-Brazil is a very , very expensive country. Example : a pair of tennis shoes which costs $100 in the Us costs $500 in Brazil for the EXACT same pair.

http://www.establishingabroad.com/bazment/4385.aspx

Brazilians go to Florida to enjoy the outlets , plus the cheap hotels and , of course , the amazing parks.

It has become a tradition for the 15th birthday celebration to send the teen on a Florida "excursion". There are specialized agencies which only organize these teen groups . Brazilians only get their driver´s license when they are 18 , so no car for birhtdays , etc ...a trip is what many middle class Brazilians save up for for a long time to mark this special date.

July is winter break and January is summer break . Brazil is South America´s largest country ( 198 million) and the tourists from Brazil are concentrated basically in these 2 months , bringing these huge groups.

Clarification: Nudity and topless sunbathing is AGAINST the law in Brazil. You will not see it if you visit Brazilian beaches ,contrary to belief. In Europe , it is common , not in Brazil.

The wild teenage girls probably were acting out , comparable to the lovely behavior you see during spring break in Mexico and Florida. I am sure the "spring breakers" don´t normally act in such a terrible manner.

The bottom line is: Group behavior is very different than individual behavior. If you take a group of teens from the US and they go to a resort in Mexico with chaperones they have no relationship with ( chaperones are from agencies) , I promise you , there would be a lot of inappropriate , loud , even lewd behavior.

Brazilian teens are not a different species . There are teens who are shy , teens who are sexually active and teens who are not , polite teens , not so polite teens , just like in the United States.

I in NO WAY condone or support bad behavior by anyone. I would have been very upset if a group of teens were acting in the way described by the original poster and I would have called management.

I think it is high time WDW and the other parks and resorts set down firm guidelines about behavior expected by ALL visitors and enforce this rules. If the rules are broken , the visitor is forced to leave , no money back. Actions/consequences. Limits.

WDW needs to realize they will NOT lose money by enforcing the rules. The groups will still come-the prices and offerings will not suddenly become unattractive just because there are rules in place. Brazilians inject BILLIONs of dollars into the American economy , at a time when it is sorely needed and they will not stop spending if rules are enforced , the florida entertainment /shopping meccea is just too attractive.

WDW and hotels in general needs to send a contract with clear guidelines to be signed by all visitors stating what is not tolerated and it must be respected.

The Brazilians are not animals...we are all adults here and some of the comments are really not very nice. I respect the fact that the group behavior is annoying - I have been on cruises with very annoying big groups ( Americans by the way) and I tend to avoid groups like the plague. People feel anonymous in groups and feel as if the rules don´t apply to them. Rules need to apply.

Just my .02 cents.

Kim

Very well said. :thumbsup2 You are absolutely correct, I have seen some teens here in America that have acted or behaved far worse. Thank you for posting.:flower3:

I guess I am fortunate, (or unfortunate) I work in the most popular casino in AC, none of this would shock me.

I find it very hard to believe that this went on for an hour with no one doing anything about it. Seems a bit exaggerated to me.

Absolutely disgusting comment :sad2:

While I agree that young girls today often do dress too old for their age, I disagree that all men would want to look at the breasts of a 14 year old GIRL. I can imagine that a shirtless woman would cause most men to do a double take. I also truly believe that only pedophiles would want to keep looking once they realized that the "woman" was actually a 14 year old child.

Were were staying at the Polynesian in 2008 and DH took the kids to the volcano pool but he forgot his key. So I as am bringing DH his key, he is rushing back toward the room dragging the kids. I will never forget his face, lol. "There will be no pool today" -- "they're sunbathing nude at the pool".

I did not believe him, so by the time I walk over there, I see 4 or 5 gorgeous girls fully wrapped in towels, grabbing their things and leaving in a hurry. The lifeguards told them to cover up, so they opted to leave. DH said they were there for only a few minutes.
