I agree.
Teenage pregnancy has always been around, sure maybe not in the big numbers it is now, but history proves that it has. Thanks to better communications and media, stories about this sort of thing get out quicker..
Yep, and my mom has even questioned me on having sex.
She knows I've never done it, but she still is curious at times.
As for other adults, they just assume with even knowing the person, that all teens are having sex. And that is not always the case.
Teen Pregnancy has always been around.
Now its just bringing it up.
Until these shows started coming out sex hadnt even crossed my mind.
Now I cant leave the house and not hear the word "sex" everywhere I go.
Even when I was little the word "sex" made no sense to me...then I went over to my best friends house and her little sister (6) was telling me HOW a baby is born...
I say just keep this stuff to "FLE" and quit making shows about it that "take away the glamour" because in reality they make it seem really cute.
"Oh yeah it sucks, but its totally worth it, i love my baby more then anything, best thing thats ever happened to me, just to snuggle with your own baby..its just..amazing"...in the end they ALWAYS say something like that.
AND.
You don't think that isn't glamorous in the teeniest way?

Totally agree with that.

Probably aren't too many of them around and for good reason. You shouldn't have to be level headed enough to raise another human being at that age. Go enjoy yourself, find out who you really are and live life to the fullest. There's plenty of time to be a "level headed" adult later on. It's really not all it's cracked up to be some days.
I think what most teens don't realize is, it's highly unlikely (but not impossible) for you to raise a child without the support of your family, the dad's family, etc. It truly does take a village to raise a child (in most instances) and it's great to have that support to fall back on.
