really getting into this now...everyone was right
wanted to change my name on my posts to just first name or a nickname and also wanted to do a ticker ..i did a copy and paste but it did not work
i am not a computer guy

You can not change your username. The only way to do that is to just reregister (start over) with a new name.

Did you read the FAQ on the Welcome Board regarding tickers? It will walk you through the steps. You need to be using the bbcode option.
