Team 'Ohana--No One Left Behind: The Continuing Adventures

Just popping in, a lame attempt to keep up.

Randomly:
  1. Have you all heard how DOOD and I lost our car after the 1/2? We were freezing cold and miserable. Aloha Jeff laughed his fanny off.
  2. Can you think of anything more romantic than running a virtual race on Valentine's Day? Anything PG, anyway?
  3. You half fanatics...you're ones to watch. Not sure about chasing you, though.
  4. That is not the Eurydice I know. :rolleyes1
  5. I also like White Stripes for running. Man, I think I might have multiple personality disorder when it comes to running music. (With no offense meant to true MPD individuals.)
  6. All candy is dangerous in the wrong hands. Like mine.

Hugs to the kids, Allie. And to you for taking care of them.

Welcome back, Jeanne! So good to find you here--determined, busy, and planning a great, fun, and memorable Wine & Dine event. Between that and all the weddings--and the oh so important receptions--you'll be doing lots of celebrating. P.S. I hope you and the Greek end up on the W&D team.
And in terms of 'Ohana, well, you know that you'll always be the Big Kahuna to me! :worship:

Richard: Great medal display--very inspiring, I'm sure. Your DDs both have good heads on their shoulders. It must be a delight to watch them grow up (if also a bit anxiety-producing). I also think it's wonder that DW is looking forward to some empty nesting. Good times ahead. :rolleyes1

John: I do trail run when I'm not in the middle of training for longer distance, especially as I know it's good for the knees. (I run a lot on sidewalks and, in decent weather, asphalt.) Any suggestions on incorporating in into a training plan. Easy day? Shorter distance? Now that I think about it, there might be something in RW about that...

Jackie: SO sorry to hear about the break-in at your work. You don't need the extra stress. Go see a movie for relief. :upsidedow I hear Leap Year is pretty good, if you like rom coms. Amy Adams is charismatic, anyway. Be careful out there with the snow--too easy to twist an ankle!

AFM: Not much--worked out some, writing some, working with a former student on his writing "career." (Apparently, his major goal is to get paid to write about video games. And by that I mean he really just wants to play them.)

Oh, and I'm planning my Superbowl meal. Jambalaya. Very hard for me to make, seeing as I'm a vegetarian & don't taste the fare. On the other hand, it's good for my diet.

Deb: I need to hear about the lost car! :lmao:

I can't get the Greek.....we're both doing the 5.1 mile leg. Trying to make each team be girl/boy and not pair anyone up with their respective partner. There are 3 guys doing the 8 mile leg so I'll either be paired with one of my sons or my older daughter's BF, Gino (which could make for an interesting team name!) The one thing we're sure of is who the slowest and fastest are, so hubby John gets my daughter Jen, the sub-4hr. marathoner! Which reminds me......

Kathy: did Mike ever tell you that he met Jen during the full this year? I think they passed each other several times.

Kathy: did Mike ever tell you that he met Jen during the full this year? I think they passed each other several times.
Jeanne - Jen did most of the passing! She had to stop a few times (Tylenol, latte, massage, etc.) and the next thing I knew she was in front of me again. Blew by me without me ever seeing her. She's FAST!

ETA: She about fell over laughing when I asked her if she was the one marrying The Greek! I told her he's famous.

Debra - Yes, children are the best and worst of times, but there surely has been much more best than worst with them--and we have brought them up to be able to be independent enough for the coming times. Jambalaya for the Superbowl? Are you guys pulling for the Saints with a Louisiana dish like that?

Corinna - You could've been Texas girls with that kind of sisterly childhood. Maniacal laughter always gets a laugh out of me, try it at DL over Labor Day and you'll see.

Jeanne - I can only wish that anyone else in my family would even pretend to run without being chased.

I got in another 3+ mile run without stopping today (technically I stopped to retie my shoes once). I really feel like I am making running progress away from this run/walk that has gotten me so far. Thanks to a good friend I got my leopard shorts photo from the half. (Thanks, D!) Also, I got my Photopass photos today, so I get at least one more day to relive my trip. These were my favorites (not counting whole family photos):

Please, nobody tell Coco that I have been seeing another Golden Retriever! It was just a vacation thing, I swear!!

:rotfl: I like the pic of you and Dug. And congrats on your continuous running! I'm glad there are other run/walk/jog folks out there. ;)

DD has the crud. :sad2: She's in good spirits about it, the frustrating thing is DH and I figuring out who is staying home from work. We're both happy to stay home with her, but taking time off work is problematic right now. We'll figure something out.

Hey...step away from the licorice! Too much can throw off your sodium and potassium levels. But that's only if you eat the old school real licorice. Most US licorice is just licorice-flavoring and doesn't contain the glycyrrhizic acid found in the real stuff. Kinda like how most US milk chocolate (Hershey's, Nestle's) is just brown wax (sorry...chocolate snob here :snooty:). Now Cadbury I could wallow in...and it's almost Cadbury Mini Egg season!

Sorry to hear so many are sick. It's that time of year. Hope everyone is feeling better soon.

Welcome Nicole! Princess Bride is our favorite movie. We also spend way too much time quoting Friends.

Jeanne...wow, sounds like a busy year! Hope you guys enjoy Wine and Dine!

Debra...I like trails for the change in scenery, varied terrain and the bouncier surface. Muddy Buddy started it! I think I spend more time paying attention to what I'm doing rather than hanging out in my own head during a run. Unfortunately, we don't have a lot of great trails around here...mostly scrub, sand and palmetto. I am infatuated with the trails in NC! I do like Margaret Atwood...Handmaid's Tale was a favorite.

Richard...nice bling wall! And the photos...I'm torn between the leopard and the dogs. I never realized Dug was a golden.

Speaking of, did I tell y'all we did DNA testing on two of our dogs? We have a 50lb hairy white dog with brown spots that the Humane Society thought was a border collie/husky something mix. Yeah...not so much. She's Chow (which makes sense...short nose, curly tail), Shar Pei (seriously?), Pomeranian and Schnauzer. Our latest dog, 40lb black shiny Aussie mix from Aussie rescue is mostly Lab (makes sense), Saluki, German Shepherd and some kinda freak spaniel.

I'm thinking I'll do the Vday 10K on the beach...I've lived here my whole life and run on the beach exactly once :confused3

Well...if I can run...I may be going on IR. My foot was rebelling today. I haven't really done anything unusual (8 on Sun, 3 yesterday) but for some reason, ankle was swollen today. Corners were bad...I'd try to come around a corner, put my foot down and it wouldn't be there. That's not really comforting. I put my brace on when I got home and it's better, but really weird.

Good morning!

Mel--sorry to hear about the foot. A V-day run on the beach sounds even more romantic!

Nice display of medals, Richard. I think I could manage that as well. Right now mine are slung over various things in my exercise room.

Welcome Nicole!! Good to have another newbie here!

Thanks for interest in my Breast Cancer fund raising. For those who experessed interest, the charity is www.the3day.org . It is every bit as inspiring and moving as it looks... I can't wait to do it again! I don't have my fundraising page set up yet (hence my surprise at my cousin's generous donation!) but there is a generic page up with my name. If anyone want to access my page, feel free to PM me.

Still on nurse duty here at the house...but, have managed to get my workouts in these past 2 days. Off to work now...

Debra--any review of Precious?

Mel: I love the rant on licorice although I will defend Hershey chocolate to the death ;) We lived in Hershey for 3 years and I have a soft spot for Reeses peanut butter cups (although they are largely responsible for the 30 lbs I now have to lose so maybe I should stop defending them). I do love the Cadbury creme eggs too-- had my first one of the season last week popcorn:: I hope your foot feels better.

Corinna: I'm with you on the Good n Plenty- yuck! maniacal laughter is always a good thing :rolleyes1.

Richard: Nice pictures! Good luck with DD.

Jeanne: Nice to see yo back here :woohoo: We were debating running with the BOTS but waited too long and the race closed (the story of my life) We will be at Wine and Dine in Oct. Still debating the 5K with the forced Not So Scary ticket that we won't be able to use but we will be doing the half.

Nicole: Sorry to hear the crud has entered your house. My DD6 has a lovely cough and sniffle but was able to make it to school today, we'll see how she does.

We are looking at doing a local 5K on Valentines Day, so I should join on the virtual thread too. In other news the cat and dog are improving together. Still some barking and hissing but much less now. Pixie has totally stolen our hearts and I must admit I'm becoming more of a cat person by the day.

I am happy to report I did 5M of incline walking last night, and ran 5M this am. I'm planning on more incline walking when I get home -- I am ridiculously behind on my exercise for this week. :scared1:

JenB -- I used to call cats "demons from He**, and then Worf and Gecko turned me into their Mommy. Ok, I say Mommy, they said "servant"...

Christine -- I know you are totally going to rock your 3-Day, that is an incredible event!

Mel -- If it's not too personal -- what prompted you to DNA test the dogs? I would never think of that...

Nicole -- Sorry to hear about DD, hope she recovers quickly!

Richard -- You are ruining my image of genteel Southern misses who delicately sip tea...

Debra -- Jambalaya! Who Dat?!

Jeanne -- Wine & Dine will be a blast!

Corinna -- Yep, the Good & Plenty will not be eaten at my house, either. However, I have cherished memories of 18 month old ds, asking for "Twizwhers" in church...

Terri -- Hope DD is better today.

Ok, that's all I can do -- I'm late calling my cab to take me to a meeting. Sending big howdies to all the other cousins!

Maria :upsidedow

Richard - If Coco is anything like my dogs, she knows you've been cheating on her simply by smelling you. But then again... I guess maybe character dogs don't leave QUITE the same scent? Come to think of it, Sienna didn't smell Goofy or Pluto on me either.

Mel - The vet mentioned DNA testing to us, since Sienna is such an odd mix, but hinted that it might be cost-prohibitive. I haven't gotten the nerve to ask exactly how cost-prohibitive. (I mean, are we talking Victoria & Albert's, or just California Grill?) DH and I have an unspoken agreement that he never asks how much the bill is when I take either (or both) dogs to the vet. That started when Mystic was sick last year and we agreed that we'd just keep treating her until it was obvious we couldn't do anything for her. When I called to schedule the boarding appt for marathon weekend they told me both dogs were due for ALL of their shots, plus they now require the flu vaccine. The shots were as much as the boarding for the week. :scared1:

Jen - When we were in London we discovered Cadbury McFlurries at McDonalds. We were very disappointed when we came home and found that the US doesn't make such a thing!

Debra - The new GPS I just ordered for my car (to replace the one the thief kindly removed before the Richmond marathon) has a feature where you can mark the location of your car and it will find it for you in a large parking lot. Just a suggestion... And here I was thinking we should have bummed a ride. I'd forgotten about the lost car. Bill keeps remembering the late arrival! All in all, not a good half. Oh wait, then there was the Expo. But we'll just keep that secret! And as for movies, I think I have to hold out for Valentine's Day. DD is dying to see that one, and I suppose I should go see it with her. I doubt her BF is going to be terribly excited about it. And then there's The Bounty Hunter, which could go either way. I do like Amy Adams, though, so I'll keep Leap Year on the back burner.

Nicole - After hearing everyone here talk about The Princess Bride, DD finally got me to sit down and watch it over Christmas. I totally fell in love. Can't believe it took me this long!

It seems that the "wintry mix" that was originally forecast for this weekend may miss us after all. :yay: I might actually get to run with my group on Saturday. There may be a few flurries, but a run is a run, especially with a half next weekend. And I may abandon the consecutive 6 month idea - I mean, is it REALLY that important to be a Uranus instead of a Neptune? Like Mel said, no one really wants to be a Uranus. :rotfl2: There is a Jupiter the weekend of Tobacco Road... :rolleyes1

Jackie

Good morning.....oops, afternoon, Cousins!

I had a great workout this morning.....combined spin and trekking class. It was the first time I did any running with the little girls :rotfl: and it felt good. I did 2 miles in under 27 minutes which is speedy for me.

Jackie: pray tell what is this planet nonsense you speak of. And I agree....I would never want to be Uranus! :rotfl2::rotfl2: Good luck with this weekend's run and getting the weather to cooperate.

Mel: sending pixie dust for your foot issues.

Richard: LOVE those Photopass pix!!!!!! That's one thing we never bother to do, but after seeing yours we may change our minds for future trips. Gotta love that bling.

JenB: I agree with you....I actually like Hersey's. It's consistent quality at a good price so you can't go wrong with that. For christmas, my daughter gave me a super expensive type of chocolate that they sell it NYC. It is made with black truffles, but if you ask me, it tastes like garlic! I'll stick to my Mr. Goodbar anyday.

I do love my licorice though....old school, new school....I'll take all of it....even Good n Plenty! (YUM!) True, the real stuff can really wreck havoc on your digestive system. Too much of that and I'll be tracking down the Activia lady. :rotfl:

I have to go check out the virtual Valentine's Day race. I'll have to do it the 13th, but that should be OK, right?

That's it for now.....have a great day!

If there is something in RW, it's probably going to completely disagree with what I say, so here goes nothing. :) I think trail running is good on any day, but hard days especially. Tempo runs and fast pace runs are hard, so I like doing them on trails when I can. Easy days and short days are easy, so they seem better suited to pavement. That's what I think, anyway. Your mileage may vary, if you'll excuse the pun. :)

Jeanne, I'm with you. There's no such thing as bad licorice. Bad for you maybe, but if I can't have real, I'll take non-real over nothing.

Jackie, have you thought about doing titers instead of shots? They cost about as much as shots the first time you do them, but that's just a one-time expense. They show you the level of antibodies in your dog's bloodstream and can be used as proof of immunization to viruses instead of yearly vaccinations. I'm a firm believer in vaccinating as little as possible, and all of our dogs go years without annual shots because their titers are high enough.

Thanks to everyone who asked about DD - she is kinda gross. Had to get out her nebulizer to help with the breathing/wheezing. Dh and I split the day at work and watching DD - I went in the morning, then came home and we swapped.
Now DD is watching Lilo & Stitch for the first time!

Now Cadbury I could wallow in...and it's almost Cadbury Mini Egg season!

Sorry to hear so many are sick. It's that time of year. Hope everyone is feeling better soon.

Welcome Nicole! Princess Bride is our favorite movie. We also spend way too much time quoting Friends. .......

Cadbury mini eggs - yum! They are the one Easter-type candy I cannot resist.
Hope your ankle and foot are feeling better!

We tested the dogs just out of curiosity. We've had our white dog for 9 years and always speculated on what she might be. She looks like a border collie with pointy ears, but has a curled tail and really thick fur that's always spotless. I had a patient tell me about DNA testing her new pup to help figure out personality and it sounded cool. We got the kits at Muttmart.com...about $59 per dog. It was worth the price just watching DD17 trying to collect the samples. Getting a mouth swab on a dog is amusing :rotfl:

Nicole...we do the kid swap sometimes with sick kids or random school days off. Hope she's feeling better soon!

Jeanne...I think the 13th should be close enough.

Cadbury McFlurry?? Really?? I might need to move to the UK.

Just popping in, a lame attempt to keep up.

  1. Yes - and how is it that Aloha Jeff seemed to be the only one who was warm enough after that race???
  2. I can think of lots of things more romantic than a virtual race on Valentine's Day. How about a serenade? Artichokes. An ice sculpture on the front lawn!
  3. Aren't those Half Fanatics something? Have you looked at the AsyLum on the website? My word. I'm definitely looking to join the club. Not sure why, entirely...
  4. Oh, Debra, I'm not sure what you'd think of this Eurydice. I forgot the best quote of all: "How do you remember to forget? It's difficult!!" I do think you'd appreciate the Lord of the Underworld, however. He is very, very suave.
  5. You never know what is going to work for running. It has nothing to do with general musical preferences, I think.
  6. Agreed on the dangers of candy. My hands are also the wrong ones.

Deb: I need to hear about the lost car! :lmao:

I can't get the Greek.....we're both doing the 5.1 mile leg. Trying to make each team be girl/boy and not pair anyone up with their respective partner.

You can't get the Greek, but you can still BEAT the Greek! :) I do like the idea of a Jeanne & Gino team.

Corinna - You could've been Texas girls with that kind of sisterly childhood. Maniacal laughter always gets a laugh out of me, try it at DL over Labor Day and you'll see.

Please, nobody tell Coco that I have been seeing another Golden Retriever! It was just a vacation thing, I swear!!

Richard - I will definitely plan on laughing maniacally at Disneyland. It's what I LIVE for! Bwa ha ha! Nobody ever takes me seriously, though.

Nice job on your 3 miles! I don't think I realized you were a run/walker. I have been left in the dust by run/walkers lots of times and sometimes think I would be better off if I adopted it as a tactic. I am really more of a steady, plodding pace - I don't think I'd gain enough extra speed in the run intervals to make up the walking. Of course you never know unless you try.

I also didn't know that Dug was a Golden. He has the exact same voice as my Lab mix!

DD has the crud. :sad2: She's in good spirits about it, the frustrating thing is DH and I figuring out who is staying home from work. We're both happy to stay home with her, but taking time off work is problematic right now. We'll figure something out.

Sorry about the crud - we've had it here as well. I'm just getting to the end of it myself now, I'm afraid. Good luck and hope she feels better soon!

Hey...step away from the licorice! Too much can throw off your sodium and potassium levels. But that's only if you eat the old school real licorice. Mel! Thanks for the heads-up on the real licorice. I had no idea. I heard something on the news the other day that Hershey's was going to buy Cadbury. I agree about the brown waxiness, I think. My kids do love Hershey's the best though.

We also got the genetics test on our dog, Skippy. It's so interesting the things that your dogs turned out to be! Especially the freak spaniel part.

Thanks for interest in my Breast Cancer fund raising. For those who experessed interest, the charity is www.the3day.org . It is every bit as inspiring and moving as it looks... The 3 day walks look so incredible. I would love to do one someday, but I'm not sure how I'd hold up and the one here never seems to work with my schedule. So far anyhow. Let us know when your fundraising page goes up!

I am happy to report I did 5M of incline walking last night, and ran 5M this am. I'm planning on more incline walking when I get home -- I am ridiculously behind on my exercise for this week. :scared1:

Maria, I can't believe you used to call cats that!!! They can be crazy, I suppose.....

Good for you on the TM! There is no such thing as "behind." You just have to jump in where you are. Those workouts you missed - in the past. Move forward from here as if they happened as planned. That's my best, best advice.

Aww "Twizwhers!" That's so cute!

It seems that the "wintry mix" that was originally forecast for this weekend may miss us after all. :yay: I might actually get to run with my group on Saturday. Jackie, if it were me, I'd rather be a Neptune, I think. When you say there is a Jupiter the weekend of Tobacco Road, do you mean there are half marathons two days in a row? That seems to be the most economical method of gaining entry to this wacky cult of half marathons.

Jackie: pray tell what is this planet nonsense you speak of. And I agree....I would never want to be Uranus! :rotfl2::rotfl2: Good luck with this weekend's run and getting the weather to cooperate.

I have to go check out the virtual Valentine's Day race. I'll have to do it the 13th, but that should be OK, right?

That's it for now.....have a great day!

Jeanne, again, I am butting in unbidden, but here's the link to the Half Fanatics Criteria:

http://www.halffanatics.com/criteria.html

As for doing the race on the 13th, I haven't seen any response on the thread to that question. It was allowed, I believe for the Thanksgiving race. I'm planning on an actual 5K on the 13th, and am not sure if I have to do another on the 14th to count. Of course, I probably need to crank out some miles on the 14th regardless....:rolleyes1

So here's what I've got today:

I went to my YMCA Fit Club again this morning. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I signed up for this. I really don't like being told what I should be doing for workouts. For some reason. You'd think I'd be OK with it, but no. She wants 2-3 days of strength training, 2 days of mind/body (i.e. Yoga, Tai Chi etc) and 5 (thought today she said 7) days of cardio. Ugh. I struggle with this because on the one hand I know that my training plans have worked in the past. I am trying to incorporate more cross-training, strength training, etc. But I also know that if I don't take a rest day, I end up overtrained. She is also "you can do strength and cardio on the same day" and I'm like...yeah, but that's like 2 hours!! I'm thinking she's thinking we should do the eliptical for 30 minutes and then weight machines or something for 30 minutes. It's not a bad idea, it's just a change from my 4-5 days of running, 2-3 days of yoga/strength/pilates/bodypump/what have you.

Did anyone watch Red Dwarf at all? There's this one episode where the main character, Lister, has some sort of mutant virus and two parts of his psyche become physical manifestations - Confidence and Paranoia. I always feel like my Paranoia comes out to play a lot more often than my confidence when people start telling me what I "should" do.

So I got home and ran an "easy" 4 on the treadmill (it was on my training plan) and it was OK. The intervals I did yesterday really rocked, though. I feel like I'm recovered at last from the marathon weekend. I know I have been known to complain about speedwork, but on the treadmill, I kind of prefer it to the long, slow, painfully long and slow runs. :confused3

Kung Fu tonight. And my neck/shoulder hurts. And I had a HUGE fine at the library today (from 2006 :scared1:) And my FIL shipped some family furniture to us and it is currently sitting in the garage on paletts. Better get some dinner into the kids before we head out one more time!

Thanks. We never considered the Photopass CD before, but went in with my SIL’s family who went to WDW and overlapped our trip. Since we were getting it we took the time to get many extra photos—and are glad we did. I went around on Monday and got many photos with characters while wearing my medals. Mickey even tried to keep my Mickey medal!
I have to go check out the virtual Valentine's Day race. I'll have to do it the 13th, but that should be OK, right?
Just pretend that you are in Australia, it’ll be the 14th there by then.

Just to prove that you are as fun and happy go lucky as the rest of us are. Either that or you got hit in the head by a big flying rock when you were young like I was.
I will definitely plan on laughing maniacally at Disneyland. It's what I LIVE for! Bwa ha ha! Nobody ever takes me seriously, though.
Then I will promise to not take you seriously while you laugh maniacally.
I also didn't know that Dug was a Golden. He has the exact same voice as my Lab mix!
He sure is, trust me… I am a canine professional (or at least I once was). Which language voice matches your Lab mix—and did it match up with the genetics test?
I don't think I realized you were a run/walker. I have been left in the dust by run/walkers lots of times and sometimes think I would be better off if I adopted it as a tactic. I am really more of a steady, plodding pace - I don't think I'd gain enough extra speed in the run intervals to make up the walking. Of course you never know unless you try.
I had kept with the intervals over the last few years because my heart rate would tend to go high at times when I was heavier, so I’ll see how this goes now. I have actually gained a good bit of speed over the last couple of years. There have definitely been times where I was faster overall by run/walking than I was by running alone.

Also, love Red Dwarf? I haven’t seen it in ages and would LOVE to see it again!!

Totally great movie, I’ve tried to get my employees to watch it so they’ll understand the references.

You are ruining my image of genteel Southern misses who delicately sip tea...
There is always that, Maria. That’s just not my girls.

Nice display of medals, Richard. I think I could manage that as well. Right now mine are slung over various things in my exercise room.
Thanks! They are very simply pinned to the wall. Simple and low cost!

Richard...nice bling wall! And the photos...I'm torn between the leopard and the dogs. I never realized Dug was a golden.
Thanks. I’m waiting for the group jungle fever/leopard photo. You can see Dug's Golden-ness in the fur and tail, I first thought he was a lab but there’s too much fur for that. Plus the mannerisms are so….Coco-like.

Today was my best swim of the year, while that’s not saying much as of this date it was also my best long swim of the last 2 years. I’m really starting to feel like my training is beginning to come together 80 days out from the Lone Star 70.3. Not to mention that I am gunning for PRs in 4 different distances in that time—5K, 10K, half marathon, and half ironman. Today was also a good Wii Fit day, Wii Fit age of 27 today (woohoo!). I can't believe how much I have gone on with this post--tons of activity here on this thread, love it!!

Okay cousins (and why is it that we're called cousins?), I need some advice. What are the good hotels to stay at for the DLR Half? I know this has been discussed before on one of the WISH threads, but I don't have the patience to go back and search through them now that I've got wonderful teammates who can help me.

Okay cousins (and why is it that we're called cousins?)

because 'Ohana means family......, so we must all be related

I'm needing that DL help too, since I haven't been there since I was 2; although I hear good things about the Candy Cane Inn and a few others. I'm hoping a group of the team goes to one hotel and I can follow as there's a good chance this could be a solo trip for me.

The cousin thing is from the Lilo and Stitch movie, too (one of them) - Lilo kind of explains it at one point - I'll see if I can find the quote - and she calls all the experiments "cousins," too.

Regarding the DL hotels - I haven't stayed at these, but Howard Johnson's and Candy Cane seem to be the names that come up the most when non-Disney hotels are discussed. For convenience to the races, you can't go wrong with any of the Disney hotels, but they are a lot pricier than the non-Disney places. As you'd anticipate, I'm sure. Ah, Disney.

Happy Friday!

(at least I hope it's a happy one - I'm in a blah mood!)

The DL hotels are nice, but you'll definitely pay. Our favorite is the Disneyland Hotel - just a personal preference.....

I'm working on inproving my speed - and doing the run/walk thing. Right now, though - I'm only at a 9/1 interval, and can do that for an hour easily. Today I might kick it a bit harder, and see how it goes. I'm registered for a 10K in May, and my goal is to run it!

Have a good day!
