It's a little early for April Fool's Mr. Panda! I love your blog entry on Emotional Eating. You are so right about the 'comfort' breaks - I had never thought of it exactly like that before, though I have enjoyed herbal and decaf tea as a 'comfort' break on many occasions.
Also, nobody is charged with keeping Debra out of trouble. We LIKE trouble!
Maria - I think the key is, the past week I have delegated a lot of my family care duties to my CASH (Corinna's Amazingly Supportive Husband). He's been so good about taking over this week. I hope your testimony went smoothly as expected!
Jen - I can't believe that annoying runner lady! Talk about your 3rd grade shenanigans! Nice job getting that workout in!
Debra - thanks for the kudos. It has not been easy to stay on track through all this, for sure! Hills are so tough. You really kind of have to work up to them, I think. It took me forever to be able to run all the hills on my neighborhood runs, and I still can't do it in the summer. You'll get there if you stick with it, I'm sure!
The counting - it doesn't seem right to count it when it's not really a concerted effort at activity, not sustained over a period of time - it just gathers up all those times I'm hustling the kids out the door or motoring to get the props out on stage or whatever into a big lump.
JenG - Have a FANTASTIC trip! I think it's easier to get a workout or two in on
DCL than at WDW. Keep an eye out for the
Castaway Cay 5K! And enjoy that workout room - talk about your gorgeous spot for a gym.

What ports are you visiting?
Nancy - it's nice to see you on the new thread! That is the best use for belly fat I have ever, ever heard of. And it sounds like your workouts are going great as well! That should put you in a good place going into surgery. Congratulations on your 9 lb loss!
Carrie - it is so nice of you to stop by! Debra is a definite powerhouse in the posting department (not to mention the miles and minutes department!). Goodness knows, some of us can't keep up either!
OK - I started this earlier and now....there are more posts. I'm just going to keep on going!
JenB - Great job on that 5 miler. I love it about "very slowly getting faster" It's so convoluted, but it DOES make sense! My two cents on staying on property or renting a car for off - well, those non-marathon weekends, a car would come in pretty handy, cause of the lack of bus transportation. Tough call, though!
Julie - it is so nice when the ice melts, isn't it? Which half in May are you planning? Congratulations on your new ipod. Is it a nano? A shuffle? a touch? What color??? We need details! My top songs are: I'm Yours by Jason Mraz (for a happy pace), "She's got the Look" by The Freshmen Fifteen, and "You're Gonna Go Far Kid" by The Offspring. Fudgesicle! That has bad words, though. Also, weirdly, The Hamster Dance. I can't account for that one: I only like it for running.
Debra AGAIN - I can understand why you would associate me with the Happy Pace shirt, but I owe it all to Christa!
Maria AGAIN - I love that kid's version. Funny!
It's so dreamy. Oh fantasy FREE me! So you can't see me - no not at all!
Mac and Cheese - that was so 5 minutes ago - way to skip dessert. The important thing is not to write off the whole rest of the day as ruined.
Robert - so sorry that the hassles are continuing for you. Best wishes to Linda. I hope your attorney is a big help.
ME - the sidewalks are clear here (however briefly) and so I took the dog out on our first walk since "The Goldendoodle Incident of 2008." It was a nice day, though a bit coldish and windy. Shockingly, a house in the neighboring neighborhood had a big fire on the second floor sometime in the past 3 months. I was shocked!
