Linds had a much better day in school today. She did get in trouble for one little thing but had an overall good day. :goodvibes I went in and volunteered with her class and she always enjoys it. I help with their 'Store" and help the kids shop and with their money. I've been working since the beginning of the year with them and they have all gotten better with their numbers but I think they are now working on how to do the money part. Mommy brag...Linds can do both so I'm happy with that! :)

Not much planned for us tonight. The roads are horrible and we have a good 1-1.5 inches of snow outside. I have some pics so maybe I'll post them later. It looks pretty but cold!

Ok I guess no one saw me post on the bottom of the other page :sad2:

I just wanted to know what I missed not being around for the last day and a half!?!?

Yesterday I had lunch with Pants at Red Lobster (Yummy) then we wandered around NYC for a bit. Then I picked up KC and we went to see Spring Awakening (got 50% off tix at the TKTS booth) one last time. It ends Sunday.

The show was great as always. The lead was sick, but he still did an amazing job.

I got a book for Christmas from KC of Spring Awakening (a nice big hardcover) and I brought it to get signed. We waited outside and I got autographs and pictures with the cast. Then they told us no one else was coming out!! I ended up only having half of them sign the darn book!

Here's the pics...

Sorry Kat:hug: Actually not much has been going. Some kid issues. All of a sudden everyone's kids have been actingup in school this week:confused3.

Mel's not feeling well.

Dawn has been planning her trip.

Angela is taking a photography class.

V is going to Buffalo, not sure when

Mo had cortison shots in her foot.

Jo played golf and shampooed her rug.

That's all I remember, sorry!

=======================================================

Jim called from the peditricians. Looks like Jimmy has the tail end of an upper respirtory infection. I feel soooo bad that we didn't take him to the doctor sooner:guilty: . He wasn't complaining that he didn't feel well. To reiterate V is right. This parenting stuff is hard!

Kat - Glad you enjoyed your day out!

Hi girls and Mr. T! :goodvibes

I'm just going to jump in here and pretend like I know what's up, ok? :rolleyes1

I did read a bit, but I'm running out of time. I see everyone is freezing... why don't you all come visit me? It's freakin' blazin' outside! It was 86 today and doesn't look like it's going to cool much anytime soon. All our pretty snow on the mountains has melted. :guilty:

Oh and of course I saw cutie pie Gus and his medal! Congrats Gus!!

Jo - thanks for the idea. I think I'll have my girls do a mock sleep-over. They're so little, most of them have never been away from mom & dad - and besides, T doesn't camp-out - so they're kinda screwed. :lmao:

Janet - I think Jimmy's just not feeling good and that brought out his grumpy behaviour. I'd use the museum as and incentive, it's not a bribe. :)

Angela - I've always wanted to take a photography class. Let me know how it goes! :thumbsup2

 to all who needs them!

Oh! And did I read there's another CROC sale???? I need some new black Athens... I've worn the bottoms out of my current pair!

I'm feeling MUCH better today. Most of my crust has come off, save for a patch above my lash line and right below my eyebrow. I haven't needed Vicodin in a few days, so that's good. Only thing is I can only wax 1 eyebrow, so I've got a Yeti brow going on. Good thing my bangs (fringe to you, Jo ;)) cover that eye. pirate:

We've got Brownie's tonight and we're painting troop t-shirts. Should be interesting. :scared:

Yay Linds! (stay inside Lori! It's COLLLLLDDDDD!!!)

Sorry Kat! Too sick to help. I think Janet forgot Carrie getting her new tv hooked up, Margie back at school/work, TE got a goat cake for her bday, Mitch came home from Grenada, and T's crusty.

Oh and I forgot Jen got another black eye breaking up a girl fight!:thumbsup2

Oh, and that!!! LOL!!!
Jen's a tough gal. ::yes::

Made dinner (with help from the gourmet mkt, thank goodness) and got the kids sorted. Gus is having his shower and then we'll all meet on the couch for American Idol.

Bob is flying from Memphis to Chicago. I wish he'd call and let me know what's going on. He didn't tell me what time his flight was, or anything. I'm sort of worried, their weather looks as bad as ours.

It's incredibly cold out. Last time I looked it was 4. We are supposed to go down to -4 tonight and with the windchill it's going to feel like -15!!!
I can't believe that they won't cancel school!

Hope everyone is having a good evening so far.

MEL:banana:

Yo T! What's shakin' mama?
Glad to hear you're healing. I heard how hot it was in LA on The Weather Channel. Man, it sounds SO good though....:worship:

Gus asked me to say THANK YOU to everyone. He also said, "Man, they post fast!" LOL
He's such a sweet kid, smart and funny. He's really shy though and it made my heart just about bust to know that he got up in front of the whole school and competed!
So, thanks guys. It's so nice to have someone to celebrate this with!!! :lovestruc

MEL

Hello ladies. Usual here. It is so flippin cold I can not even put it in to words. The only plus is we take the kids to the gym for large motor and do not have to mess with the dressing and undressing for outside time. It takes a group of 3 and 4 year olds a long time to get into snowpants, boots, coats, hats, mittins, and scarfs.

Hugs:hug: for those not feeling well or injured.

Gus great job.

Jimmy I am sure is just not himself because of not feeling well. See how it is going in a day or two when the illness has passed. I agree with all that parenting is hard.

Kat looks like a lot of fun.

Having computor problems today !! DD says it's th figid weather as her computorand print at work were acting up too !It keps freezig up and jmpng all over up and down and skipping when I typeeee ( see what I mean)Soooo I have not caught up so Hugs  to all who need them and winter woolies to those in the frigid areas !!:rotfl2:

Hi, all!

Dawn, if you are stopping, I'd not go longer than 12 hours. I agree with Mel (?) that the second day should be the shorter day. We drive the whole drive to IL sometimes in one go, but we do it overnight.

I have to plan stops because we usually have the dog, but you won't have that problem.

Janet, sorry about Jimmy's bad day.

Mel, WTG to Gus!

Kat, looks fun!

T, glad you're feeling better, have fun at Brownies! :)

Jo, you told me where to go to read something. ;) Glad you had fun at Guides. :goodvibes

Rosie, sorry about the computer issues.

Someday I'll get back to multi-quoting, I've just been too busy. So, I'm sorry for those I am forgetting.

*****************************************
Boys are in bed. D is messing with the TV settiings again, as far as brightness, contrast, color settings, etc. I find it tedious. ;)

So, I'm having wine. :rotfl:

Hey CE. I find when Jim messes with the electronics I get that glazed look too:rolleyes1

Thanks for all the positives about Jimmy. His excema has been really acting up with this weather too, so I am sure that is makin him uncomfortable too. We talked after he got home from the DOctor and he told me tomorrow would be a better day:hug:

Not much going on here. I'm actually going to bed soon. This weather makes me sleepy!:cloud9:

I resent the video email to the Fockerfesters. Let me know if it worked this time!:thumbsup2

 Email kicked back for being too big. WIll shrink tomorrow and resend!

OK!

********************************
Hey, Jo? The Mom's Panel keeps freezing up my browsers :confused3 (I use both IE and the new Google browser. The IE will work until I try to close it. Google just freezes outright.)

But, I just read T's question and your answer. Oh, dear god. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks for the recap!! I hope Jimmy feels better!

Sorry Kat! Too sick to help. I think Janet forgot Carrie getting her new tv hooked up, Margie back at school/work, TE got a goat cake for her bday, Mitch came home from Grenada, and T's crusty.

Thanks for the rest of the recap! And feel better to you too!

Hey V- you know NYC isn't too far from Buffalo....and there are a few Fockers in the semi near distance...Just saying:rolleyes1

***********************
I tried to get a bunch done around the house today: dishes, kitty litter box, organizing the closets, did my nails, cleaned out the fridge, got my resumes together for tomorrow & organized my pictures for scrap booking.

Then I feel asleep! for 2 stinkin hours...from 10-12...not good, it's gonna be a loooong night. I'm half way caught up with my DVR shows tho. LOL.

KC is coming home soon from his Nerdcore Show.

Anyone else still up? I'll prob shut down the PC in a few and get into bed. Night all!

Janet- We all have bad days. Jimmy had his. For the month. ;) Cheers to a better day tomorrow. :thumbsup2

Make sure you keep that eczema covered! I like to put a nice thick layer of aquaphor on top of the RX cream to seal it. (Except for fingers... which are really hard to seal).

I started a photography class this morning, Two hours one day a week for 8 weeks. It's supposed to be photography I, but some of the students seem to know more than I do.
This is something I say that I am going to do every year and never get to it! I am so excited for you! Please fill us in and you go along and some pointers!

_______________________

THEY FINALLY CLOSED OUR SCHOOLS! You mean -22 without windchill is not cold enough? They wait until we are projected at -30 without windchill! :headache:

SO I will be spending my day getting ready for a scrap weekend at a retreat! Yippe!

Just incase you thought I was joshing you about the temps~

I wasn't lying baby!

Congrats to Gus on winning the Geography medal!

V- Atlantis sounds nice, I have been dying to go since it opened. One of these days I will get there. :cutie:
