Mel- Bad Dr!
You're new car is cute! :cutie:

Jodi- I love your playroom! I wish we had one, but these dern kids want their own rooms. So selfish! ;)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, I bought the Wii Fit. I returned the $50 game, so it was only $40 out of my pocket. :yay: We'll see how it goes.
Kirt's not going to be home until 6, and then we're having a nice meal before the new year starts. :cloud9: I think we'll play the Wii and rent a pay-per-view. I really don't think anyone but Baylie will make it to midnight with me. :sad2:
I'll check in if everyone goes to sleep. :goodvibes
Man, a lot of pages. I can't read them all now. Self, go to 121.
Dude, you are gross! :rotfl2: Stinky, stinky CE! ;)
I KNOW! Yuck! Seriously, I did shower this morning, and I swear that I am much better when I have my normal weekly routine going. ::yes::
great pics CE!
Thanks!
T,,Did you bake some ugly microwave cupcakes today and attempt to fill the frosting tube then spin the frosting tube around and HOPE that the frosting (that you added too much water too) ended up on said ugly microwaved cupcake? :confused:
:rotfl:
I liked them at first, but now I'm not sure, but I don't want to be like the last kid to get high top Reeboks. :scared1:
:rotfl: What color did you finally end up with? Mine were yellow.
My google search results:
Q: Can i make a regular box cake mix in the microwave?
A: Are you so stoned that you can't wait the 30 minutes or so to bake it in the oven?
:confused:
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Hi, Brack!
My Nanny is almost 89 and she's out near enough everyday, she annoys my Mum as she's forgetful and says she can't do things (but only things like work the TV when it goes wrong, legitamate things I think) but she's so active it's great :thumbsup2
That is really good. Heck, my mom can't work the TV when it goes wrong, so I definitely think that's fine. ;)
My grandma is sitting on the couch now and is worrying about the fact that my mom is in the kitchen and grandma doesn't know what she's doing. Why does it matter????? My poor Mom.
Btw... I slept for about 3 hours and ds woke up coughing and the vomited, from coughing. I know TMI. I have just nebbed him and he is in bed with me, daddy was moved to the couch.
I can't sleep!
I'm sorry, Jen!
Hi, Jen2. Love you.
***************************************************
Well, I woke up and it was already snowing away. Mom had promised that the boys and she would go shopping, and they think they're probably leaving Friday. Not being sure what would be open and such tomorrow, we pretty much had to go today, so she & I loaded up the boys in her car and had a snowy adventure. It was, um, poor visibility but the roads weren't too bad and the mall was certainly NOT crowded. :thumbsup2
I think we probably have about 6 inches out there, but it is once again very light "dry" snow, if you KWIM.
D worked from home, and my dad, who likes "projects" had fun doing some shoveling and so forth. ;)
I think D & I will go out to eat tonight, but not much else. I bought some wine and stuff for Mom to cook, and if we go out, we'll probably be back before midnight. D bought a supposedly nice sparkling wine the last time he was in Napa that we've saved - I'm not usually big on the champagne, but... We'll see!
I will talk to you all later! I don't know if I'll be back on tonight, or not - depends on who stays awake once we're back from dinner. If not,
Happy New Year! May it be fantastic!
I hear you. I did eventually stop doing that to myself when SD was about 13 yrs old...
Great, so I have 7 years to go? :headache: ;)
Ewwww CE! LOL Ly/Mi
I know. I swear, I'm not that bad, usually.
Gotta go see Dr. Seigle today. I am hoping that finally he'll just keep that needle put away! I can hope....
I hope it worked out - you may have said, but I only read another page...
Well I was going to iron but I spent over an hour on the wii fit instead, I have unlocked several things today :thumbsup2 I did disatrously (sp?) in super hula hoop though, I just couldn't do it the wrong way round, ie left and it kept falling on the floor :rotfl2:
Oh, I unlocked the super hula hoop yesterday but haven't tried it yet. I am sure it will be amusing... :lmao:
Not doing anything here today. After I cleaned the playroom yesterday, I pulled all kinds of stuff to get rid of into the guest room. I took some pics last night and I'm going to list the stuff on Craigslist. If it doesn't sell, then I'll have a garage sale in the spring. So, that's on my agenda for today.
I also bought some plastic folders to organize my scrapbooking stuff in, so I'd like to get started on that. I need to run to Target again and pick up a few more fabric bins for the cubicle thing I built yesterday. Can I just say that my girls have a few too many toys??:sad2:
If I get really ambitious, I might start taking down the Christmas decorations today. I should have done the outside ones yesterday, since it was in the 50s. Today, it's supposed to be in the 30s. :headache: Oh well, I may wait until the weekend and make DH help me.
Look at you, all organizing and stuff. :thumbsup2
I actually switched out the boys' dressers this afternoon - they've had two in their rooms since babyhood, but they were both shared - all pj's in one drawer, all pants, etc. We finally just have too many clothes (and they've been different sizes for too long now) that I decided they each needed one dresser for themselves. We'll never find anything for weeks, but it will be better in the long run! :rotfl:
OK, I'm really going now.
:grouphug:
Happy new Year!
I think we probably have about 6 inches out there, but it is once again very light "dry" snow, if you KWIM.
So that's better than wet snow :confused:
No, I haven't used it. I was waiting for Kirt to get home and hook it up or whatever.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I actually have just gotten home about an hour ago. My friend (who's fine fine now, thanks whoever asked) and I went to lunch and to the bookstore after I got the Fit. So, I have been catching up.

Poor Kirt... Jodi's got me wanting to paint and organize, so there goes his relaxing four day weekend! :lmao: I think I'm going to clean up so there's less to do when I sweet talk Kirt into painting this weekend. :angel:

Happy New Year Fockers!

Well, just got caught up on my emails and saw the news:sad1:

Anywho, went to the Dr today and got bad news and really bad news.

Bad news, my good foot needs a round of cortisone shots, really bad news, my bad foot needs surgery, will schedule for after my next WDW trip which is 39 days away! (no commando touring this trip)

So I was really feeling sorry for myself driving home and started thinking what a crappy year and good riddance blah blah blah, but then I my thoughts turned to maybe it wasn't so bad.

Ok first witchy poo at work, but when I needed to vent the Fockers were there, then there was Mom's heart scare, again the Fockers were there in numbers, add in Bonnie's stroke, Namath's deafness, my feet and fibro and there was always the constant of the Focker's support. Even though I have been a bit of a prodigal Focker lately, you guys were there checking up on me.

And of course there was Fockerfest, I danced with Kate's #2, danced with Janet in front of the buffet, CE lifting my shirt up in Epcot, and riding TT with Jo's family.

Boy, what a great year it was. What a great year it was to be a Focker.

So after all this, I just want to thank all of you for being you and for always being here for me, even if I'm not always here.

So here's wishing all of you a HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!

:grouphug:

Oh, I unlocked the super hula hoop yesterday but haven't tried it yet. I am sure it will be amusing... :lmao:

Egads! I unlocked super hula hoop yesterday too! I must look like a riot doing it! ANdy and Maddie were busting up watching me! I think I'll post pics of us tonight.
I also rocked the step aerobics! :banana: The advanced one is so fun - it really gets your groove on.

I'll be back later on to wish you all a Happy New Year, since I'm 3 hours behind you. ;)

Sorry, Dawn! I'm in the mood now too, but I think taking Christmas down will cure me for now. I'm hoping to use our tax refund to buy new carpeting for the family room, so I'll probably decide to paint, etc. then.

I actually painted the playroom back on July 4th. All I did over the past few days is put together the pink cube thing and organize the toys in the cloth bins and put up the bulletin and dry erase boards. Everything else was already done.

So here's wishing all of you a HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!

:grouphug:

We love you too, Mo! :grouphug:

~~~~~~
Well, I was craving Mexican for dinner, so DH just left to pick up some food from our favorite Mexican dive. Have you ever realized that the really good Mexican food comes from restaurants that look like they're about to be condemned?? And they absolutely must have fringe on the curtains and Mexican blankets on the walls, right? Anyway, I can't wait for my enchiladas suprema to arrive!!! :cloud9:
hey girls (and guys). my husband is home, so we'll probably hang out.
if i'm not back have a happy new year everyone!!!
:hug:
i really should stick around and chat cuz i'm only 9 away from 1,000 posts!!!!
so close!!!!! :banana: :banana: :banana:
Dawn! Break that bad boy out and get to it! :thumbsup2
No way! I'm on break until tomorrow. :lmao:
Actually, we may set it up tonight if it's not too much trouble. I can't ask too much of Kirt since he just agreed to paint my school room which includes taking apart our desks and computers. :headache:
Well said and I completely agree. :grouphug:
I remember, Jodi! I had my surgery then, remember? Guess what happened a few weeks after that? Aiden's whole room was painted. You always get me movin' and inspire me! ;)
I'll have to post pics when it's done.:thumbsup2
I also want to buy a few quotes from that Uppercase whatever now. I want the "Dirt Happens" one that has a Monster truck on it (A's room decor) and the "As for me and my house" one for my dining room.
.... S'late... while Dawn was out I got that camera hidden in her house.. she'll never find it.. have you picked up the video feed signal yet.. mine's still fuzzy
Har har! :rotfl2:
i really should stick around and chat cuz i'm only 9 away from 1,000 posts!!!!
so close!!!!! :banana: :banana: :banana:
Yeah! :woohoo: Start the new year with 1000 posts!
I had a color picked out in my mind and Baylie reminded me that it's the same color as A's room. So, it's out. Especially since his room is of the school room.
So, any suggestions? It can't be pink or teal, or sage green. No red or peanut buttery brown either. I already have rooms those colors. :confused:
