Need to do a minimum of 15 a week, it said that in the info when we originally applied back in September, just being wary I don't say anything I shouldn't :rotfl2:

You'll be fine!;)

:rotfl2: I just watched my video and it's not good but definitely not bad :thumbsup2

Oohhhhh, can we see it yet?????

Well my birthday is Feb 1st so that's something to look forward to :snooty: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Okay, here it goes....

January is a month of regrets and remorse. And what gets me is that it's not something we'd feel naturally, but something we're spoon fed. We endure October through December being handed candy, stuffing, and yummy treats. We are literally told to buy, buy, buy. And then January rolls around and suddenly we all have to lose weight, get fit, and buy oodles of plastic containers to store the oodles of stuff we just bought. We're made to feel bad for enjoying and giving. It makes me nuts.

Okay, vent over.

Camryn got the cutest faux crocs for Christmas. They are lavendar with tink on them. They have fur inside too. :lovestruc

I went to Target at 9:00 last night and bought a cubicle organizing thing and some cloth bins. Our playroom is an organizational nightmare and I am determined to fix it! So, that's what I'm doing today. I would love to get the majority of the toys out of our family room and up to the playroom, but that necessitates some reorganization.

I'm hoping to use our tax refund to get new carpeting for our family room and will then possibly rearrange the furniture and get rid of the toybox! I might even repaint! I like the colors, but it definitely needs to be freshened up. I think we painted that room when DD7 was 18 mos old.

So, MIL called DH last night at 10:15pm to ask him to help her with her c-collar. At that point, we both realized that she hasn't taken the thing off since she came home from the hospital LAST TUESDAY!!!!! That means, she hasn't had a shower since then! Or washed her hair! So, DH ended up going to his parents' house at 10:30pm to teach her how to take the collar off and put it back on. She made him wait while she took a shower so that he could help put it back on. He got home at 12:45am. I understand that she is a nightowl and everything, but couldn't she have called at 7pm? Then, he could have gone over earlier and made it home before midnight! He just left for work a few minutes ago and is exhausted.

Hope everyone has a great New Year's Eve Eve! We were going to go out to dinner tonight to celebrate our anniversary with friends (whose anniversary is today), but had to reschedule to Friday. We're hitting a really fancy steakhouse in Indy. Should be fun.
I love organizing. :cloud9:

Morning :goodvibes

Quick post before I start oodles of laundry :laundy:

Hope all is well...and I have a quick question....Am I the only one who hates January???
I'm not a January fan either. It's so gloomy usually. I also feel bad for all the weight I need to lose, etc.
Last year I solved that gloom problem by going to Disney. :wizard:

Buzz, Mom & I were gone for about 2 hours yesterday. When we left, Grandma was lying down, but when we got back, she was sitting in the kitchen. She said, "I didn't think you were coming back." Now, honestly. Where would we go? Mom pulled me aside later and said, "What, did she think we were all up and moving to Maine and leaving her here in the house with the dog and all your stuff?" :rotfl:

I don't know if I've mentioned that she has severe anxiety, too - along with the COPD (the oxygen problem) and just being sad about Grandpa. When I was a teen, I worked for them at their hardware store, and we were super close. I think I'm sadder that she is nowhere near THAT person that I knew and loved, than about Grandpa being gone. At least he's not suffering, you know? She was hospitalized for mental issues for a bit while I was in college and has been shaky ever since.

It's just this that makes an even bigger burden on my mom. :sad1: Grandma is VERY clingy to her, even at home, where they do NOT live together.

Sorry. It's just all sad and weird.
 I'm sorry you're stressed, honey.

I sent everyone a PM, if you did not get one from me PM me and I will let you know what is going on. But for now, suffice to say Jen1 will not be posting for a few days:sad2:
 :sad2:

Dude. With cell phones, and teenagers there is NO warning. Half the time I don't know WHO'S going to be at my table for dinner. They don't call here, they call EACH other. The parents are NEVER involved (on the other side, if it's MY kids I make them call AND ask the parents!!). The other parents DONT drive, I do. They aren't home to supervise when my kids are at their houses either. If I send my kids somewhere i have to ask SPECIFICALLY, "Are the parents going to be there?????"

It makes me VERY VERY angry. What can you do though? I make my kids follow rules, I set specific times for pickup/dropoff so they know when they'll get their dang houses back to themselves. I do all the driving and I HIGHLY encourage my kids to have their friends HERE so I can monitor them.

Other than that, it's a disaster. NO ONE ever calls the next day to see when to pick up their kids!!!
:headache: That sounds horrible.

Mel said:
Ok, got a load of laundry done, made my bed, got to clean the kitchen next. AND get rid of this kid.

Then haircuts for my two boys, before the big storm hits. (Another 5 inches by morning, but Gus is ELATED!)

I have an appt with Dr. Seigle tomorrow, so we'll see how the weather is.

MEL
My cousin just called this a.m. and was saying she had to get supplies for NYE before the storm comes.

I have broke my fever, I am resting, whilst my DH is working from home taking care of the kids. I have a terrible cough (almost croup like) and still can't speak. I am sitting in my bedroom and planning on not moving, unless it is to my bed... which my back side is getting really sore from lying in. :confused3

I am thinking that I will need to cancel our NYE dinner party, as there is probably no way that I will recover by then. :sad1: I bought the best cut of prime roast beast too.:headache:

Morning all. I logged in and meant to post, but I got caught up watching B play the Wii when I went to make coffee. :lmao:

So, I have a cute bag I'm buying. It's so cute. I thought it would nice to have on trips. It's only $17 and it goes across your body. :thumbsup2

HI Fockers,

I just quickly skimmed the last 2 pages.

Angela - what's wrong with Reid, I hop he is ok

Jo - you'll be fine (can you email the link so I can see what you are up to), BTW saw your trip report and will be reading this weekend, can't wait to see what you did.

Not a big fan of January, but at least in Feb I am going to Mutherland.

Did I see s'late is getting more crocs:scared1:

So I am at work today, kiind of quiet, and thankfully I am off the rest of the week.

Tomorrow I am heading to the foot DR one more time before the deductible kicks in. A little nervous as I think I maybe facing surgery. not sure how many of you remember me getting shots earlier this year. Well, the shots aren't working and my toes keep going numb. Of course if I do have surgery it will be carefully planned around my trips this year.

Which reminds me, Angela, are you around the week of Feb 8th. I am there the 8th - 13th and would love to see you again. Any other Fockers there that week?

If T is around, my trip to California is definate, pulled the trigger on the airplane tix a few weeks ago.

Well, that's it for me Fockers, I should be around this weekend as I am planning a whole lot of nothing (other than taking the tree down and cleaning)

Last year I solved that gloom problem by going to Disney. :wizard:
... and solving it by going again :woohoo: Wish I was going when you were

Okay, so for those of you with me on the anti-January band-wagon, mind if I ask why you dislike it? I know why I hate it, I'm just wondering if I'm crazy.

Count me in. NOT a fan of January AT ALL...

Taxes. And I start feeling anxious about how much WE DIDNT do the last year....save money, lose weight, etc.

January's weather is AWFUL.

Nuff said.

YEP - What Mel said...

Yep - all that too...Plus - I'm hitting the big 4-0 next month and I'm pretty darn upset about it...

First of all, had I known I was going to live this long, I'd have taken much better care of myself  ...and secondly...I'm depressed over this like you wouldn't believe...lots of woulda-coulda-shoulda's dancing through my head.

For example, I woulda liked to celebrate my birthday at WDW, and I coulda, if I didn't spend spend an outrageous load of money taking my family in November. I shoulda thought before I spoke when I promised we'd go in November...big, heavy sigh....

And honestly, I wanted so much more for myself :sad2: so staring at 40 and looking where I am now, and what's coming ahead in the next few months (or lack thereof) is freaking me out gals...

Oh crap, I feel a pity party coming on...gotta go...

I owe, I owe,
Back to work I go...

If T is around, my trip to California is definate, pulled the trigger on the airplane tix a few weeks ago.
Oh Mo, I'll be around. T talks the talk, but deep down, I know I'll never leave California. If anything we'll leave the area, but nothing 'til I'm working full time and this RE market improves. :goodvibes
Besides, we have a date to ride Indy together!

I'm wondering, those of you with the Wii Fit, if it's worth the $. What does it do? Exercise for me? ;) Seriously, though, does it come with stuff or is it just a board and I have to buy other stuff? :confused3

Should I just save my $ and go walking?

First of all.... 7 PAGES???!!! Seriously? OMG! :faint:
Tell me about it. I never made it back on after heading home yesterday, so I'm figuring that puts me about 12-15 pages behind. :faint: Summary anyone? :worship:

It yells at you if you go too long without getting on, I can tell you that. Stupid thing yells at me all the time. And mine keeps telling me how unbalanced I am. Like I need that reminder. :rotfl2: But seriously, it's fun. And you can definitely feel the workout on some stuff. My boys love it, especially the youngest.
