So I went out and decided to do some budget retail therapy.

I went to Staples and got some binders for 60 cents which was awesome! Had to buy the cats some Litter.

I got home and decided to work out my frustrations and I'm feeling much better.

I've got shingles!!! I'm all wigged out about and crying like a baby, only that's making it worse because the tears burn the sores! They're dangerously close to my eye, so my doctor says if it gets worse near my eyeball, I need to head to the ER. This is just fantastic!

:cry: I just read the prescription info from the pharmacy and it's the same meds they give for genital herpes!!! No wonder the pharmacist was looking at me weird!

You know there is a vaccine for Shingles now. They don't recommend it until later in life. You get rest. I know how painful Shingles are.

Oh no T!!!! Hope it heals quickly for you! My BFF's boyfriend got them on his face last year and at first he thought it was a rash and when he finally went to the docs they said it was shingles. I think it lasted about a week.

Hi Fockers!!

You all missed a carp load with me.

I had one of the top 5 worst days of my life on Tues-wed. When KC came home that night from work he sat me down to "talk" (never good) and told me he wanted to leave. It was really bad, we cried, we talked, we cried some more, there was some begging even. Then somewhere on Wed something shifted and we just somehow got back on track. I really can't pinpoint what it was but we let all our frustrations go and seem now to be better than ever.

I went to See Mary Poppins last night (very entertaining show BTW) and he dropped me off and picked me up. We have started communicating more, esp about all the stuff he bottled up(mostly me not being able to help financially). Things really seem like they were when we first met. We are looking at each other the right way again.

Needless to say this was a trying few days, I was so exhausted emotionally and physically. But the only reason I'm talking about it is because things are going to be OK. I have heard "testimonials" from several other couples who have been through worse and made it, so I KNOW we will.

So this afternoon we are heading out to recreate our first date, a walk around the city with a few stops in between, like ice cream at FAO Swartz and a ride on the Toys R Us carousel in times Square.

Thanks for letting me vent, I really only told one friend about this whole thing, but I knew my fockers would understand and be there.

I'm off to shower and have some food before heading out.

Yeah, we go through this about every couple of months only it's me that wants to flee. That's so sweet that you recaptured your 1st date. Here's to smooth sailing.

My lunch was very nice, the 2 PR girls were lovely, we chatted for ages and it was so comfortable. I told them loads of things they didn't know like waking Tink or the candy lady at Japan, it was so funny. They're sending out all my press stuff on Monday to my local paper, TV and Radio and to some national papers so it will be interesting to see who takes it up! They want me to send them my excel planning sheet as they love the idea

I think I told you that the cabin we rented was a mess when we got there. I sent pictures of the mess to the owner. I didn't get nasty or anything. I just told him I didn't know what his arrangement was with his housekeeper and I thought he should know she wasn't doing her job. I also told him we loved the cabin and it's location. Nothing more.
Well he replied. He's giving me the $65 cleaning fee back and a free night if I rent from him again. He also CC'd me a note he sent to her. He made it clear he wasn't happy. Too cool!!! Chalk on up for the good guys.

Work, work, work tomorrow. I didn't get as much done today as I wanted. Bummer. I have to work 4 12hr nights. I don't have any vacation scheduled until Valentines. I dropped a big hint to Doug. I don't know if it sunk in or not.
